I changed location on gc.com but automatic checker isn't working on new location. [closed]

I updated my location on gc.com about 10 days ago.  The automatic checker hasn't looked at my new location yet.  gc.com is also showing events in the old area on my profile so the problem probably lies with me or gc.com but I'm hoping someone here can explain it.
closed with the note: Problem was caused by incorrect gc.com usage.

Pleu's request for clarification helped me realize gc.com has both a home location and a profile location.  Not understanding this was the source of my problem.  I will close this thread.

I think you need to describe the issue better here. What "automatic checker" is it that isn't working? If you're seeing events at the wrong location at geocaching.com it mostly sounds like you haven't updated your homecoordinates at all.
