Menu: Tools > Other > Souvenir List
Request: Add a filter option: exclude "expired" souvenirs

For example, many of these are for specific dates or years in the past. The ability to filter out souvenirs you can no longer obtain would be very useful when looking for ones that can be accomplished "now".

This page says adding souvenirs is a manual process.  Consider allowing user-submission of souvenir data, or adding moderators/curators for the souvenir page that can help you with this work.

Souvenirs are already handled by moderators (like yours truly). The point of the text is to make it clear that new souvenirs won't be instantaneously categorized as soon as they appear, it will take a day or two for them to be detected, a moderator to see the notification and then classify it.
