It it a paying member features on for example map compare named "cache name" add a 8 in the "Begins with" field

There are 11 in a 100 km radius and you have already found one so there must be some other criteria for the name challende.  Do you have a GC coder
GC215PB 8 Maids a Milking aka: 8 Red Holsteins

Do you have a GCcode for the challenge. If to has none on can probibly be created
I taught the advance search list on gc.com was sortible on the cachename but it was surprisingly not possible
A way to fins ok caches without being a paying member on pgc it to run the challenge checker on other cachers that have found it an looks at their cache for 8

Exampe with a 100 km radius from DC

I think the challenge is for cache owners. I don't know the specific one he's going for, but I guess it's along the lines of GC1MFEK.
My mistake i read cacher as cache. The problem to fin a cache hidden by a owner starting with 8 is harder.

A problem is if it is the name in the hidden by field on the cache that are asked for in the challenge och the name of the CO. The hidden by can be anything the owner likes and thera ant no good way to look for it on pgc. The name of the owner is possible and often the same as the hidden by field.

To find hiders in an area  the top hidden function is probably the best. Below is a url for the stat of Virginia. you can add filter att county too. The you have to manualy do down the list and look for a hider with the correct nick

The fist one i found in Virginia was 8pointhunter. I looked in DC but did not find any but i might be mistake and I have not looked in Maryland.

To create a map with a owners hides on PGC you have to create a custom filter. It is a paying member function located in the meny with your name on the far right side. The filter can then be used in for example map compare.

If you use GSAK or now a local user it is trivial to find the answer if you have the caches in your database
I also created a checker to the challenge sumbloke mentioned at
http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC1MFEK/8513
can tag one for the original posters challenge if i get the GCcode
I just realized there is another way to do it. The new virtual gps can filter on any field. Added all cache in a 100 km radii from DC to the VGPS and filtered on owners starting with 8. The only one i found was 8pointhunter
