Question

To unlock a whereigo cartridge on the whereigo website I should upload a gws-file. But my WhereYouGo player does only save a gwl-file and an ows-file. What´s to do?

Normally, to unlock a wherigo cartridge, you need to download the cartridge to your unit (phone or GPS), run the wherigo and note the code you get at the end when completing the cartridge. You then enter this code on the wherigo.com website to unlock the cartridge.

The possibility to unlock the cartridge by entering a code works. But on the whereigo website the prefered way to unlock is discribed as follows:

"Once you complete the cartridge make sure to save it in the Wherigo Player. When you return to the web site you can upload the save file to the site which will unlock the cartridge. The save file will have the name of the cartridge and end in *.GWS."

I had no idea that option existed. Anyway, this question has nothing to do with Project-GC.
