Language setting on geocaching.com

Question

On geocaching.com website under preferences I set my language to german and save changes. At the next visit on geocaching.com website the actual language is english again. Why? What`s to do?

It's probably lnked to another app/script that you use : for instance, c:geo turns english on and doesn't go back to original langage when exiting.

Oh, that is a good suggestion as I am having the same problem and use c:geo as well. I'll have an eye on it, thank you!

Thank You for the answer. In c:geo the language is also set to german - also in Locus. Greasemonkey seams to use german language also. Are there more apps/scripts, which could change language settings? Perhaps  project-gc ?

It's not the language set internally in c:geo, but the way c:geo accesses to geocaching.com : http://www.cgeo.org/faq.html#website-english
You use c:geo, this app that changes geocaching.com in english, whatever your preferred language. Nothing to do with Project-GC ;-)

That is a problem with geocaching.com or your web browser. To begin with, make sure that your browser is set to accept cookies.

Thanks for Your answer. My browser (firefox) accepts cookies. So the other settings (TimeZone, metric units, Date format) are saved correctly.
