Incorrect Found log not deleting from Project GC

I had to delete an incorrect Found Log of mine on Geocaching.com but it is not deleting from Project-GC... so now Project-GC has one extra Find than Geocaching.com.   How can this be fixed? (It has been 2 days since I did this - and still no sync'ing of the deleted data).  I am a paying member, so thought it would be 24 hours.  Any ideas?

Project-GC does not get notifications when logs are edited or deleted. We will eventually refresh caches and find that information anyway, but it may take a while (at worst, a couple of months).

So if I understand you correctly... Project-GC does a periodic refresh of *all* caches every two months... so when it re-copies the Found logs for my "problem-cache", it will discover that I no longer have a Found-Log, and therefore adjust my statistics down by 1 Find.   Is that correct?
