I am trying to solve a puzzle that might involve determining if a cache owner has logged one of his/her own caches. I'm trying to track each cache down for a list of cachers.

I don't think there's a really convenient way to do that. If you use the Find bad logs page for someone, it will return all the caches that they own as "bad" (even if they are adopted) but it may of course also show you various caches that actually have duplicate logs.

Another option is to create a custom filter that limits your search to just one cache owner and then using that with Map compare but you would need to edit that filter for every search.

Thanks for the guidance.

I took that approach and it worked. It might be worth considering adding "found by," in addition to "placed by," to the custom filter options, although I acknowledge that this might be the only use for it.
