The Souvenirs tab displays the souvenirs a user has earned. Project-GC has chosen to display these in different categories and in order of date earned instead of the alphabetical order used by Geocaching.com. Since the categories are specific to Project-GC and not information from Geocaching.com, adding a new souvenir to the correct category is a manual process that may take a few days. The tab consists of two modules.

These souvenirs are awarded when a user logs a cache as found in a region that has a souvenir, these can be found in Australia, Canada, Ireland, Germany and United States.[1]

These souvenirs are awarded when a user logs an Event or a CITO-Event on a specific date decided by Geocaching HQ, for example logging a CITO during "CITO Season" or logging an official GIFF-Event.

Specific-day souvenirs

These souvenirs are awarded when a user logs a cache on a specific date, for example logging a cache on International Geocaching Day or logging a Earth Cache on International EarthCache Day generally awards a souvenir.

Other souvenirs

These are the souvenirs that do not fit in any of the other categories, these are generally souvenir promotions that make use of the Leaderboard[2] or give other tasks for the user to complete but can also be for specific caches.

GeoTour souvenirs

These souvenirs are awarded for completing a GeoTour.

Notes

  1. Geocaching HQs List of souvenirs
  2. Leaderbord is a list that can be found at Geocaching.com and awards different points for different caches, these are changed for each promotion that uses it.
