FP h-index is a statistic borrowed from academics. On Project-GC this metric is used to simultaneously measure the quality and quantity of a cache owners hides. It states a number of caches owned which have at least a given value of FP, such that the number of caches is greater than or equal to the number of FP. The value is the highest number of FP for which this is true.

For example, a cacher may have 12 caches with 10 or more FP, but only 9 caches with 11 or more FP. The entry would be "FP h-index: 10 (12 hides with at least 10 favorite points)".

The FP h-index can be found in the Top FP h-index top list and in the hides tab of the Profile Stats.

Mor information about the concept of the h-index can be found in the Wikipedia article about the original h-index.
