Need a checker for my cache GC7N3G8.

10 different cache types in a day.

I qualified for this cache already.

The "in a day" portion is not allowed according to the current challenge cache guidelines, as per rule 9:

Not allowed: Time-limited caching: as in some number of finds per day, week, month, or year. Example, Busy Day, 50 finds in a day, 500 finds in a month, etc.

How is that possible when there are all kinds of challenges out there about numbers in a day or stars in a day?

Those are grandfathered challenges that were created a long time ago when different rules applied. They will typically have GC codes in the GC6xxxx range and earlier than that.

My reviewer has told me I need a challenge checker for this cache. Are you saying he is wrong?

Your reviewer is correct in that you need a challenge checker for all new challenge caches. However, the reviewer will have to review the challenge cache guidelines to confirm that the "in a day" portion is not allowed any more.
