[Cancelled] GC7VZR6 - two active traids less than 160 meters
August 13, 2018 11:59AM
Hello,
it still comes from that, for example Tradis can be found with less than 160 meters distance.
We want to make this a challenge.
Exact task:
Find two arawise Tradis at less than 160 meters
Active here means that when logging the 2nd Tradis both still have to be active.
Could someone please write a checker to us?

Many Thanks

Given that all physical caches must be at least 161 meters apart, this is not really a viable challenge?

oh, it's not that easy to say ...
the regulation with the 161 meters was not always there .....
There are so many caches that are more than 160 meters thick.
For example:

GC92 Un-Original Stash - GCGV0P Original Stash Tribute Plaque with 22 Meters

GC1HHV2 Bilbo Baggins Fishin 'Hole - GAS # 2 - GC22996 Mean Maybe Mousy Micro with 141

just to call 2 times.

So I think it makes sense.

Bear in mind that guideline 4 states:
Quote

Challenge cache owners must demonstrate that there are plenty of qualifying caches to meet the challenge at the time of publication.

Given the 161m threshold has been around for quite a while, it's debatable whether you could justify the few remaining pairs as "plenty"...

Nice idea but as the theme is in breach of the current guidelines I doubt a reviewer would allow it
