No.

Currently they are not allowed to be used as criteria for a challenge cache.

I was hoping to include them as part of a wider challenge

ie. 10 finds of 10 different cache types

That type of challenge would be allowable, but you couldn't use 10 lab cache finds as one of the 10 types. It would need to be sourced from 10 other types.

No, they can not be included. The guidelines states that Lab,caches as a source of criteria are not acceptable
