Re: GC9YZ1M 10 communities in Peace River Regional District

I am looking for assistance in creating this challenge checker. I have included the requirements that I have on the cache page but I am happy to take direction on how best to do this regionally based challenge. I may later create a tougher challenge with more communities required if that is possible.

"To complete this challenge you must find a cache within 2 kms of 10 communities in the Peace River Regional District. They must be in BC and eligible communities must have a community hall, church or school to qualify. You can not have 2 caches in the same community. There is no time restriction and previous finds that are now archived will count. You will need to create a public list 'A Peaceful Challenge' with your finds and including this cache so that your accomplishment can be verified. Smileys will be removed for those that do not meet the requirements-sorry!"

I'm sorry but your challenge is not an acceptable criteria
Challenge cache criteria may be based upon these geographic areas: countries, states/provinces, counties (or their local equivalent).

The counties in BC are antiquated but the boundaries are listed on the gov.bc and gov.ca websites https://search.open.canada.ca/openmap/f1bbe703-5958-4d93-a884-a94dc4dfb34b
so this might be an option but seems impractical.
Regional districts are definable https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/governments/local-governments/facts-framework/systems/regional-districts Would these count as "or their local equivalent" ?

In British Columbia the equivalent of "county" is "regional district", yes.

However as you write in your original post the entirety of Peace River is a Regional District, so geographically you cannot go any smaller than that.
