Re: Checker Request - New Unpublished

I am requesting six checkers. Each is for a new unpublished cache. All are related and should be set up from the information below. I would like the script and output utilized to be similar to the script and output (though with these challenges obviously dollars would be output) used for http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC75RC3/26534.

Please create a checker that will issue dollars for each find a geocacher has, based on the type of cache they found. Please have the checker show the total number of dollars for the cacher per cache type. Please have the checker show the total number of dollars for the cacher for all of their cache finds collectively.

Please assign the cache points based on the following formula:

Traditional Cache $25,000
Multi-cache $25,000
Unknown Cache $50,000
Letterbox Hybrid $50,000
Event Cache $50,000
CITO $50,000
Virtual Cache $100,000
Earthcache $100,000
Wherigo Cache $100,000
Webcam Cache $1,000,000
Mega-Event Cache $10,000,000
GPS Adventures Exhibit $50,000,000
Groundspeak HQ $100,000,000
Groundspeak Block Party $100,000,000
Lost and Found Event Cache $100,000,000

Qualifications for each checker:

GC7793V – Earn $1,000,000
GC7794F – Earn $10,000,000
GC77952 – Earn $250,000,000
GC7795C – Earn $500,000,000
GC7796Z – Earn $750,000,000
GC77970 – Earn $1,000,000,000

I'll have to tweak the script at some stage to put dividers into large numbers like this and also to allow prefixing a $

Or you could use my generic count checker. It is designed for this type of challenge and already allows configurable prefix (and postfix) and configurable thousands seperator. e.g. see http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC6FA8Q/22357

True, but the request was for something similar to one based on my script.

I have made the tweaks to my script to handle thousands, prefix and postfix on points checks.

The only issue I am having is that the checkers seem to be giving a green checkmark to pretty much any $ amount earned even if that $ amount does not reach the thresholds requested for each challenge. Could you maybe take a second glance to see if this could be rectified.

It rejects me from the biggest one. Can you provide me with a username and checker which gives the wrong result?

I have not been able to trip up the two lowest threshold checkers. I believe the four larger checkers may have issues, though.

captainmath with 1.7 Billion is a high dollar cacher name that can be used and should meet the threshold of each of these challenges.

Whoops, I'd missed a zero from the config for each of those. I've updated them.

There sure are a lot of zeros in this set.
