Re: Elevation Checker to match Project GC elevation bands

I'd like a checker please to cover at least one find in each of the Project GC elevation bands. GC79A8G is the code.
All in metres.

I am aware of the somewhat dodgy averaging method used to identify altitudes of caches and am happy with that. The checker result will be what it is. I suspect there may already be a checker that matches this but I have not yet found it.

If you are going to use this one please tell me exactly how you are using the elevation bands because there are some difference at the moment with your elevations

I would like to use the vogelbird one as it lists a cache for each level.
I do not understand the comment re "there are some difference at the moment with your elevations"

I see there are differences between the checkers at the edges of the groups with < versus <=

My intent was to list the elevations on the cache page but also refer to the fact that they match the ProjectGC elvation subgroups. I though I had listed them in this way but accept I may have done something wrong.
To me the simplest thing will be if they match as this should minimise people complaining that the checker gave a different result to the Project GC page.

If this is not now clear perhaps you could clarify what you want from me please vogelbird?

I think he's referring to the fact that the PGC bands are:

Yes, sumbloke is correct. The elevation bands on my checker are following the PGC bands apart from " Elevation >= 2500 meter " which allow caches beyond 5000 meters
