The challenge cache (GC7DDXP) has been published, but I'm getting complaints on inconsistent checker results. This probably has to do with the checker needing too much CPU time to make a complete calculation. Any ideas how this could be fixed?

It is possible that if the user does not qualify, the checker tries to find the best solution this far. I am one cache short and it took 25 seconds to check that I do not qualify.

Does this happen with someone who should qualify?

Would it perhaps be a good idea to have the checker print lists of the D/Ts and months it could not find matches for (so that I know what I need to target)?

At first, checker shoud try to check whether the user qualifies or not. If no solution can not be found then - if there is time left - checker could try to find a partial solution. Finding partial solutions during the checking phase may slow the process so much that no result will be achieved at all or the result is false negative which is not good. If the current script is not capable to give reliable results I could try to adapt some custom script I have already done for this kind of tasks.

I don't think the script is reliable in the sense you describe it, see my post above.

The "N caches with NxN different properties" script is known to run out of CPU time that why there is a remark in the output when the checker fails.
However when the challenge map https://project-gc.com/Tools/Challenges?map=create&country=Netherlands&region=Gelderland&cachename=Grid&archived=on&show=all shows green you always find a solution after using the checker a couple of times.

For me, it's not necessary. I explicitly request cachers to not paste a checker's output to their log, because it's both unnecessary these days (every challenge having a checker to verify logs anyway), and it makes for boring and long log entries.

The checker seems to be working fine, I've got no complaints at all, so thanks again!
