Re: GC8X0WG - Climb club - 5 with Tree climbing challenge

Hi lovely volunteers,
I have 3 similar challenge checkers I'm trying to make, and for brevity I have all three listed here, but can do individual entries later if that is easier:

(A) GC8X0WG - Climb club - 5 with Tree climbing challenge
(B) GC8X0WH - Climb club - 3 with difficult climbing challenge
(C) GC8X0WH - Climb club - 1 with climbing equipment challenge

Each of them are similar to :
GC76R1Q - 100 Tree Climbing Challenge
They are all find 'x' number of caches with 'y' attribute. This is for any caches globally of any type, placed any date, just not counting caches hidden by the one running the checker, which is pretty standard.

To prove I have also done these myself:
1 with climbing equipment
11 with difficult climbing
and 16 with tree climbing, according to project-gc.com as of 7/24/2020.

Not going to lie, when the email came back, at first I thought it was confirmation my post was submitted to the forum. Vogelbird, you are crazy fast.
I tested all three and they work great for both positive and negative. It's nice to have a friend with 2 finds, they're a guaranteed fail on almost all checkers.

I was checking the hyperlinks and I made a mistake!

(A) GC8X0WG - Climb club - 5 with Tree climbing challenge - Correct
(B) GC8X0WH - Climb club - 3 with difficult climbing challenge - Wrong
(C) GC8X0WH - Climb club - 1 with climbing equipment challenge - Correct

The second one, Climb club - 3 with difficult climbing challenge is supposed to be GC8X0WK.
What should I do to remedy that?

That's the one! Perfect! Just tested it and it works exactly as it should.
If that happens again can I just manually change the letters in the GC code of the link as I put it in my cache page, or does it have to go through you to be adjusted more fully?

No, the GC code for the challenge must match the GC code in the checker. If they don't match, you challenge cache might not be published or archived by HQ. So if your challenge cache GC code doesn't match the GC code in the checker, you need to ask us to fix it for you.
