Re: New checkers for GC8Y1C2 - 50 caches on a island

Hi,

We want to create a cache challenge about the island (countries and/or territories) in the world. The goal, for a geocacher, is to find 50 caches on an island.

Here below, the list of all the countries ou territories witch are islands. We got the list by running the checker https://project-gc.com/Challenges//22480
Malaysia is not on that list. It's half an island and half attached to the Asian mainland... but if you think that it is a island, you can include it on the list.

I think that there is a error in the result, because there are more than 0 caches in "St. Martin", "Bonaire", "St Kitts" "St Eustatius" and "Saba". You can verify it on the geocaching map.

Oh, I seem to have answered that the checker was working on August 18th.

For the moment I haven't published the cache yet because it must be on an island in Brittany and the weather conditions don't allow it. So you can archive my request.

In the message from August 17, 2020 08:57PM, it seems I forgot the island called Mauritius (Africa).

A friend of mine was there and found 2 caches but the checker didn't give this result.
