I am not the OP, but I ran the script to check results. I noticed 3 potential issues-
1 - District of Columbia shows on the list. Not sure if it should be or not.
2 - Only 24 entries are shown. I would expect either 50 or 51 to show up.
3 - The header of the script output states I have found 3 of the top 10. I have found 3 of the oldest in each state. This might be a translation issue, as it should say you have found # out the required 10.

Thanks for the checker. On the DC question, I am fine with including that and will change the cache page listing to say that DC can be counted.

Otherwise, the checker runs as intended, except for Ohio. GC2DBE Ancient Lake is not the oldest in Ohio, though if going by the date published it appears to be. If you go by GC number you can see that Ancient Lake has the wrong date on it. GC31A, Shawnee Lookout Cache is actually the oldest in Ohio?

If possible, the checker should look for Shawnee Lookout Cache. GC31A to fulfill the challenge.

You can not use the GCcode to find the oldest caches.

The checker is based on hidden date and for the old caches there is no other criteria we can use.
