Hi, I wanna ask you for a help with "new" version of checker for sequel cache https://coord.info/GC5T4G4

This one is going to archive, because Its published in moratorium time and now I cant use script, which used bookmark.

Idea is try to find 25 caches published between 3.10.2004 and 31.5.2005 included (there is actual 30 foundable caches besides many archive. ) in Jihomoravsky kraj.


I founded simmilar scripts from others as JPavliks:

There is a better script for this kind of challenge. It is the Generic old caches in area checker scrpt

Ok, last question - I really hate it..... I founded General script, ok - now I need to set tags.. could you pls send me link to "all available choices, which I have to set?! Or where I can find them?

what I need to set is for your result?! I cant any percentage - Just I wanna check 25 oldiest caches, count disable and archive older than "joungest of 25 oldies". Thx for help..

Do you have a GCcode then I can setup the checkers and you can play with the results

- 25 caches published between 3.10.2004 and 31.5.2005 is a quick setup with the simple func script

- The generic old caches in area checker has the following description

Checks for the oldest caches in an area

"excludeDisabled" default false
"excludeArchived" default true (Changed from default false before)
"nrtop": number of caches
"percentFound":int
"includeOwned":true owned caches are included in the list
"excludedGcCode":{"GC12345":""} exclude a cache

Red caches are caches you haven't found if you have filed the challenge.
If you have made it they are strike through
Blur caches are archives caches you have find
and if you own a cache they are bold

The standard filter are also available
country, region, county, types, terrains, difficulties
county can be a table like "county":["Silkeborg","Viborg"], to check multiple counties at the same time

Thanks - same result as you I get too with "my script".. But Iam still not satisfied.. I have suspect, than database on project GC not include all the caches or still is somewhere error, because in this challenge cant count every older caches. Example is https://coord.info/GCP8VN which is older than youngest from the list and is isnt counted in checker. In bookmark, which contains all the published caches alltime, nick "selmice" challenge accomplish, in "new" one she has only 19 points from 25, and named cache GCP8VN she founded in year 2008, so it isnt be fault like last week. Could you explain this pls?

I suspect there is a script problem which I have seen before in another challenge.
I will contact Target., the script writer, to look at this.

"problem" non-named challenge cache I already solved with Ganja-owner this site more than a year ago. Thats a reason, why checker still rolling. But in close future Im goning to archive this one and publish from 99% same cache, as official challlenge (reason is stupid founders, which can log FI without challenge, because for now they can). So if you try to find a source of problem, why "new" script cant take all the published caches, ill be very glad for it. Ill wait for response. Thank you.

This is a grandfathered challenge. It might be better for you to keep the existing listing and original intent of that challenge, with an improved checker. If you start over again, you might run into issues under the revised 2016 guidelines for challenge caches.

The grandfather's cache will be archived and a similar new cache will be published in the future, that's why we are discussing the issue

there is also another problem and that is the title of the challenge. The new guidelines stipulate that the word challenge is in the cache title. At the moment this is missing and the checker will be automaticly disabled

I really try to find but logic of search in this www is horrible for me. Could you pls send me direct lik to script or copy settings of script from source?
