Re: Editing a challenge cloned ?

Hi

I need a challenge : an user must found 1 cache on each of the 7 calendar days. And he need to do it in all 12 calendar months. The finds do not have to be in the same year
I see this challenge in France, https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC8FPEG/46250 who's cloned from https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC8FPEG/45823.
I just cloned the french challenge (https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC9Y8F2/70520) but now, i've a problem with the title and description :

The name is added when your challenge is published. The comment shows it's a clone and should not be edited.

On another message, i see an user who advise people not to clone checkers and to ask a tagger to clone them on their behalf instead, since (non-tagger) cloned tags are immutable.

If I want my personal checker instead of the clone, is it still possible ?

Yes it's possible but if you've already cloned a checker with the requirements you want that seems like unnecessary extra work.
