Hello

I would need a checker for this challenge. It is the Jasmer challenge, but Spanish version only.

It qualifies when the player has found at least one cache for each one of the "hidden months" (month in which the cache was hidden), but considering only geocaches located in Spain. If there is any month that there is no cache available to be found in Spain (e.g October 2000), this "hidden month" will not be considered.

Thanks!

Do you by any chance have a list of these months?

PS. Some Reviewers will only accept this Jasmer variant for months in which there are at least 2 (sometimes 3) caches available, to satisfy the following Guideline:

Challenge Cache Guidelines - Section 4: Source of Criteria

Challenge cache owners must demonstrate that there are plenty of qualifying caches to meet the challenge at the time of publication.

It may be worth sending your Reviewers a quick e-mail to confirm.

Hello

Thanks for the advice

Is it possible to create the script considering only those months where there is at least 5 active caches in Spain?
I do not want to create something very complicated.

Hello...

Is it possible then to have a challenge where the player qualifies if he/she has found at least one cache hidden each of the years from 2001 on?

Thanks!

Apologies for the delay.

Your new idea is of course possible. However your old idea is still possible too. All we need for it is just a list of the valid months with >= 5 caches available, since that is not data that we currently possess.

Let me know which you would like to do.

Hello. This post indicated "awaiting feedback", but, as agreed, I am waiting for a checker for the following chalenge:

"player would qualify if he/she" has found at least one geocache in all of the hidden years from 2001 to today's year"

Thanks!!!

Hello.
Can that be restricted to geocaches in Spain?
Thanks for that

It shows an error with nicks that don't qualify...

Thanks

I will have to contact the scriptwriter. I think this can be resolved quickly.

Hello,

I recently tagged your script "Generic Jasmer Challenge Checker (by GentlePurpleRain)" and have found a bug that I am hoping you can fix.

On line 187, in PGC.print(), if num_per_year[yearIndex] is nil then this string concatenation fails. This occurs if the "per_year" configuration option is being used, but a particular user has zero finds of caches hidden in a particular year.

For an example tag where this breaks, see https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCA8P7T/77940 -- this checks for one find hidden in each year from 2001 forwards in Spain. You can run my name through to see the error (I have no finds at all in Spain.)

They appear reasonably active on Geocaching.com so I do not expect them to take long to respond.

In the meantime, MAXZ1309, you can link to this checker on your cache page. I will let you know when it is fixed.
