Yes, it will work as written. It would just make it easier to understand for US citizens that are still confused by kilometers.

Also would like to change out this checker for the one I used on GCA7FWE. I had to change it after I was told that we can no longer require more than one find in a day.

The tag for GC5Q7T4 has been updated to show miles now.

For the other part, is there a current checker in place for GCA7FWE? What is the new criteria?

Yes there is a checker in place for GCA7FWE. It was originally to find a cache 1,000 miles apart on the same day. That's no longer allowed. The attached checker is 79046.

If you are looking for the same checker for the revised GCA7FWE, this would unfortunately be against the guidelines, as they state the only geographical areas that can be used are countries, regions and counties. This would be interpreted as a radius.
