I suspect that your local Community Volunteer Reviewer will deny this Challenge on review, citing this guideline:

Challenges based on geographic areas other than countries, states/provinces, counties (or their local equivalent). Examples: user-defined mapping polygons, latitude/longitude, radius, etc.

Accordingly, I would ask that you discuss with your local Community Volunteer Reviewer before we proceed with the creation of a Challenge Checker for your cache.

The challenge of this cache is to have found at least one cache in the Arctic Circle.

Since the Arctic Circle is not a valid area definition for a challenge, but area definitions should be based on states, federal states or counties, the cache must be in the following counties:

Finland: Utsjoki, Inari, Enontekiö, Muonio, Kittilä, Sodankylä, Savukoski, Kolari, Pelkosenniemi, Pello, Rovaniemi, Kemijärvi, Salla, Ylitornio

Greenland: Avannaata, Pituffik, Unincorporated area, Qeqertalik Canada:Qikiqtaaluk, Kitikmeot, Inuvik Region

is the status still a preliminary check or can the checker be integrated into the listing?

The checker can be placed in your listing by using this procedure
1. Open the link as provided
2. Click on in the "link" button on the right
3. Copy the code for the third option and paste it into your cache description
(You might need to first click on the green button above the description to put it in the right mode.)
4. Save & preview and submit for publication once you're happy with it.

If you don't see the usual challenge check icon you might need to click the Source button above the cache description box before you paste the code.
