Project-GC follow the countries that are decided by Geocaching.com. You can read about it in the Help Center and I'm sure there's many forum threads over at geocaching.com to discuss it.by Pleu - Miscellaneous
Hi Adam! https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCAVAXM/90308 Here's a checker you can use. Please test and reply!by Pleu - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Doubt this would be publishable as it's based on percentages/ratios which is generally not allowed.by Pleu - Checker requests
It's possible to do but you need to use a script that can handle options like that. Like a multi test script.by Pleu - Miscellaneous
The star is because you're the owner of the challenge cache.by Pleu - Miscellaneous
@vogelbird Pretty sure you misread the requirements. 1. It says "found challenge caches" 2. It says that the mentioned row/column are examples.by Pleu - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Europe has 55 countries at Project-GC, your list has 46 countries. The concept you're suggestion with questions are not something that's allowed per the geocaching challenge guidelines. A challenge cache has to have the coordinates for the final waypoint visible on the cache page, this means they have to be at the posted coordinates or the final waypoint has to be made visible. You will not get an exception from this and you will have to decide if thisby Pleu - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
This challenge is not allowed as only regions and counties are allowed to be used in challenges per the guidelines. Unfortunately Berlin is both a region and a county so there is no smaller area allowed for Berlin.by Pleu - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Challenges for "contiguous counties" are not allowed.by Pleu - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Looks like this cache has now been published.by Pleu - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Considering vogelbird made the checker and he mostly uses his own scripts I would start with contacting him.by Pleu - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
It's a pre-moratorium challenge. I can't find a script that handles the "must start with"-part of the challenge tho.by Pleu - Checker requests
If somebody have had a slump for a long time, it could be multiple years, then it might be impossible for that person to reach your challenge.by Pleu - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
The correct way to correct this is to email IgnoredAmbience as it's their script.by Pleu - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
It's because you've cloned a tag for the same cache as the original checker was created for, this makes the new checker a duplicate and then it's automatically disabled. You should have just used the original checker that you got from vogelbird. https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCAR9EW/88786by Pleu - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Good to know, we'll try to keep track of that.by Pleu - Miscellaneous
County-borders of Poland have now been updated. There were a couple of more similar boundary-changes too.by Pleu - Miscellaneous
Thank you for reporting this, we will be updating the data as soon as possible but due to some changes on the back end of things it might take a little while.by Pleu - Miscellaneous
I'd recommend you word the cache page something like "all cache types that can be marked as large is allowed to be used" instead of listing specific types as it's not really correct to mark either ECs or events as Large, yet both have historically happened.by Pleu - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
There are multiple CITOs, Events, Community Celebration Events, Megas and Virtuals marked large. However they are all archived. Since these are as legit as Earthcaches marked large (as in it used to be possible but is not possible anymore) I think it's an odd choice to include ECs but exclude the other types.by Pleu - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
This challenge is not possible to make a checker for since there are too many possible "Christmas related words" that can be used in the challenge and it's not possible to list them all in a checker.by Pleu - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
This challenge is not possible to make a checker for since there are too many options for each task (all the names in the world, all the foods in the world, all the colors in the world and so on).by Pleu - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
It looks like you've copied the image-part of the code only instead of the whole code block available under the "Link"-button. You need to mark and copy the whole code block next to the image you want.by Pleu - Miscellaneous
I'm sorry, I misread your original post. Here's a new checker you can use for your new listing. https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCAPRDT/87908 You should have requested a new checker for the new challenge, as you said, reusage will just cause confusion. Just add this new checker the same way I described above and remove the link you already have on your cache page and all should beby Pleu - Miscellaneous
That something is a stat on Project-GC is in no way an indication of it being allowed as a challenge. However, challenges for "full finds calendar of micro caches" is publishable and always has been. The guideline you're referring to is for streaks, you're not allowed to have a challenge for "100 days in a row of only micro caches", but this is an entirely differeby Pleu - Miscellaneous
If I'm understanding this correctly you mean nine different challenges, one for each D-rating? So you would need nine different checkers? This would likely have been clearer if you had supplied the requested GCcodes for the checkers.by Pleu - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
There is currently a bug with Geocaching.com that it doesn't show you archived caches. If you run the query at Project-GC instead it will likely match the checker.by Pleu - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
At the checker page you click the button labeled "Link..", you'll get a pop-up that shows three different codes you can use. The third example is the most popular. Mark and copy the code from the example you want, paste this into your cache page. Remember to make sure that the button labeled "</> Source" is green before pasting the code to your page.
