Hi, I'm looking for a checker for the following: 1) Find 5 caches 2) Must be traditional caches 3) Must be T5 4) Must have the 'climbing gear required' attribute. Many thanks!by brendan714 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Interesting, looks like depending on the province in Canada, census divisions either do or do not correspond to that province's county equivalent. In Alberta, the census divisions are not the proper provincial county equivalent: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Census_geographic_units_of_Canada#Census_divisions As I mentioned above, the wikipedia page says the census divisions consist of groby brendan714 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Yes I agree - the challenge should go through with the reviewers. We will see. Instead of adding a 4th level, could we replace the Divisions currently on the 3rd level (typically reserved for counties) with data for Alberta's Municipal Districts, which are actually our county equivalent? One of the Divisions in the province of Alberta is 192,000 km^2, which is nearly as large as theby brendan714 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
OK a little digging over lunch led me to the following (I have lived here my whole life and did not know this was how it was divided): We do have what we call "Municipal Districts" which are the local equivalent of a county. Several municipal districts make up one Division. Several Divisions make up the Province of Alberta. Several provinces make up the country of Canada. Regarding GC8D6W8, https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC8D6W8/44866 The reviewer has an issue that this challenge uses "districts", which, as far as I know, is the local equivalent to "counties". My question is, do we have any mapped polygons for Alberta, Canada other than these districts? Does "county" data exist here? If you could check the database and lby brendan714 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Hi, can you please update the checker for GC8D6W8 from 10 caches to 15? https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC8D6W8/44866 If possible can you also reset the checker stats after the change? Thanks!by brendan714 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Hi, I'm not sure the checker is working properly. I don't think it's picking up caches in the Calgary division. ie, these caches (among others) should qualify but they aren't being picked up by the checker: https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC5TT75_canada-goose-island https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC1HXWD_first-landingby brendan714 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Thanks for the quick reply! Good question, my apologies for not specifying that properly - yes there can be, for example, 7 from one and 3 from the other, so long as the sum between the two divisions equals at least 10.by brendan714 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi, I am looking to have a checker made for the following requirements: 1) Find 10 traditional caches 2) These caches must have 5* terrain and the "boat required" attribute 3) These caches must be located in "Canada => Alberta => Division No. 6 Calgary" or "Canada => Alberta => Division No. 15 Canmore" Thanks!by brendan714 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Hi PGC Checker makers! I'm just curious about the status of a checker for this challenge? I have the cache in place, the page is ready to publish, I'm just waiting on a challenge checker. If the rules above are too much of a pain to program, the rules for the checker could be as simple as follows: Find or own any of the following caches: GC1607, GC3WZBN, GC3WCJW, GC5Z025, GC5Zby brendan714 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi, I'm looking for a checker for GC7XMGX, "The Great Canadian 3,000 Metre Elevation Challenge" Rules are as follows, and were confirmed to be good by reviewers: 1) Find or own a cache above a true elevation of 3,000 meters 2) The cache must be in Canada 3) The cache must be a traditional cache 4) Finds on archived caches count What I would like the checker to do: 1)by brendan714 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Hi, I requested a checker for GC79GWT: https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC79GWT/27945 I'd like to fix it just slightly by making the number 2222 instead of 2200. Also, can we update it to be for GC7DQXB instead of GC79GWT. Thanks very much!by brendan714 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
OK, looks good, thanks very much!!by brendan714 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Can we reset the checker statistics and change the tag comment to 2200 meters from 2000 meters? If this is done the checker is good to go and this thread can be ended. Otherwise this looks good to go! Thanks very much!by brendan714 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Thanks. Can I make a couple changes? 1) Let's up 2,000 meters to 2,200 meters. 2) Let's make it traditional caches only. 3) Caches still need to be in Alberta. Thanks again!by brendan714 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi I'm looking for a checker. Requirements: - The elevation difference between your highest found cache and lowest found cache must be greater than or equal to 2,000 meters. - The caches must be placed in Alberta. Thanks!by brendan714 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Technically speaking, this appears to work perfectly, thank you! Only other comment is from an aesthetics point of view. For 2001, many of the months say in red "Not yet found", and the same months in the section below have caches. ie it doesn't say: Feb 2001 (skip March) April 2001 May 2001 ... etc. See what I mean below: Everything else looks great, thanks soby brendan714 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Excellent, thank you! This is a great start. I have a couple concerns though: ** It does not appear that the checker filters for caches placed only in the province of Alberta. This is a key point for the challenge. ** Also, regarding: Item 1) Alright. In that case, when caches are archived in the future, can I request an edit to the checker? Hi, I'm looking for a checker for my unpublished cache, GC6MG4M - Alberta Jasmer Challenge. The requirements (as confirmed by a reviewer) are as follows: Goal: Find at least one cache placed in each month, from the year 2000 to now. The geocaches must be placed in the province of Alberta, Canada. Notes: 1) If there is only one active geocache for a particular month (or none at aby brendan714 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
