Haldimand-Norfolk is one unioned area in their 2016 data as well. They are seperate in OSM though. I will dig deeper into this matter tomorrow. It's already 2 hours pass bedtime.by magma1447 - Checker news
Our data is Census data from 2011. They actually released a new file last year (2016). I have downloaded it and will try to look at it tomorrow.by magma1447 - Checker news
I have updated them again. Hopefully this is final (at least for a few years). Almost all counties now has their parent region as a suffix, which is much better than an OSM-id which says nothing.by magma1447 - Checker news
Are you sure the second one needs to be updated? Doesn't seem to have any counties in the config, and the region name it has seems to still exist.by magma1447 - Checker news
Had to update the county names again. Several county names has the same name in different regions. I have added an osm-id as a suffix for now. Not sure that will be the permanent solution yet.by magma1447 - Checker news
Added region and county polygons to Georgia. Georgia also has some overlapping county polygons. I did not manage to understand why.by magma1447 - Checker news
Added region polygons for Azerbaijan. 'Qazax rayonu' partly overlaps 'Ağstafa rayonu', this seems to be an error in OSM which we didn't care to spend time at. We are not sure which is correct even.by magma1447 - Checker news
Polygons for Ukraine has been updated. The only change is that the regions are now using English names instead of local names. Not a single vertex has been changed besides that. It's based on the same data dump as before. We tried to import new data from OSM, but we can't figure out where the region polygon for Autonomous Republic of Crimea has gone. We also had some issues with counby magma1447 - Checker news
Updated the polygon data for Russia. It turned out to be a 6 hour project due to them passing the meridian. They are now in much higher resolution, and also uses international names.by magma1447 - Checker news
Bulgaria polygons has been updated. Major changes actually. The country now has 28 regions instead of 6. 28 seems aligned with Wikipedia, and OSM. They now have 262 counties, instead of 28 (our old regions). 262 seems to be 2 short from the number at Wikipedia, not sure which is most correct, OSM or Wikipedia. The names are also using the common alphabet now instead of their local names.by magma1447 - Checker news
Updated. Same polygons but now using non local names.by magma1447 - Checker news
Added regions for Moldova. That's probably the last one today.by magma1447 - Checker news
Added region and county polygons for Macedonia. Starting to regret I didn't collect all this in one thread.by magma1447 - Checker news
New polygons for Albania, regions and counties.by magma1447 - Checker news
Bosnia and Herzegovina polygons added for regions. I skipped counties since the data was a bit messy in OSM. It's probably doable though. But with ~200 caches including archived in the country it didn't feel very relevant.by magma1447 - Checker news
Updated polygon data for Slovenia as well. No known difference. I honestly spelled Slovenia wrong so I thought we didn't have any data at first, otherwise I would have spent the time on another country instead.by magma1447 - Checker news
Updated region polygons for Hungary. No known name changes. Added county polygons for Hungary.by magma1447 - Checker news
Updated polygons for Slovakia, no known name changes.by magma1447 - Checker news
Added region polygons for Belarus, we did not have any before. When importing county polygons our GIS database returned an error so we skipped those. Belarus is known as Vitryssland in Sweden, or White Russia directly translated.by magma1447 - Checker news
We have updated the polygons for Czech Republic as well. The only known changes are that all counties has gotten their "okres" prefix removed.by magma1447 - Checker news
Poland has been updated to use polygons from OSM. The regions are unchanged. There are 9 fewer counties now.by magma1447 - Checker news
We have now added a moderator interface (with pinkunicorn as moderator) to group souvenirs into different categories. When using the GetSouvenirs method there is a new field returned, 'group'. The available groups are: Countries Regions/states Unique events - Souvenirs you receive when attending a mega/giga. Event related - Souvenirs you receive by attending an event at specificby magma1447 - Checker news
You are right. There are actually 13 geocaches with a hidden date before 1970-01-01. I was just assuming there were none with a date before the epoch. Sending 1900-01-01 should work as well, and most likely 0000-00-00 as well. 1900-05-12 seems to be the "oldest" cache, currently. A bit broken that one can add any arbitrary date if you ask for my honest opinion.by magma1447 - Checker news
I made another update today. Adding two new options (they are not inside the filters in params). dontCountArchivedTowardsLimit: (bool) defaults to true dontCountDisabledTowardsLimit: (bool) defaults to false With default settings the server code will then figure out the oldest not archived geocache. Then it will return the geocache data for those matching the filters. Ie, it will exclude alby magma1447 - Checker news
["united states","canada","mexico"] works fine, might require proper casing. But I assume you were just lazy, just as my example wasn't the correct syntax. country=, region=massachusetts, county= works great as well, assuming the counties both exists in massachusetts, which exists in usa. You can mix string and array locations as you wish. For example counby magma1447 - Method requests
I just added a minHiddenDate filter to GetOldest(). It defaults to 2000-05-03. If you for some reason don't want it filtered, set the date to 1970-01-01.by magma1447 - Checker news
You are right. I should have tested it from the start. I have now created a test script and corrected the last bug. It's working now, at least as I intended it to. Example, the oldest in country=Sweden, region= are these: Quote | GC4C | 2000-06-14 | Stockholm | | GC4D | 2000-08-11 | Stockholm | | GC16B | 2001-01-14 | Västra Götaland | | GC602 | 2001-04-03 |by magma1447 - Method requests
Oops, I lost a line of code when making the fix earlier. Sorry about all the issues, working on some other things and feel a bit stressed and distracted today. I tested both checkers that you linked, they execute now.by magma1447 - Method requests
No it's not you, it's me. As I mentioned I didn't test the patch. When I reviewed the code now it was obvious what was wrong. I have released a new version. I still haven't tested it though. If it doesn't work now I will make a proper test.by magma1447 - Method requests
Now I get it, and I agree with Pinkunicorn. That's a specific case which should then be handled by a checker script. I missed to say why we want to move the grouping inside Project-GC. 1) Easier interface for making changes (hopefully). 2) Can be used in Profile stats as well. 3) In the future we could have a couple of moderators handling it instead of one guy.
