Formerly anyone using Project-GC could create tags. This was changed the last months to be permission based and we added everyone who owned an active tag into the list. Since your tag wasn't active, you did not get permissions. I saw two solutions to help you, either I updated the tag, but then you wouldn't be able to change it in the future either. Instead I gave you permissions toby magma1447 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Today we found out that our names for regions in Spain did not match Geocaching.com. We have therefore renamed some of ours: 'Catalunya' => 'Cataluña' 'Comunidad de Madrid' => 'Comunidad de Madrid' 'Comunitat Valenciana' => 'Comunidad Valenciana' 'Canarias' => 'Islas Canarias' 'Illes Balears'by magma1447 - Checker news
Long-term we are aiming for another system to give feedback on checkers. Ie up and downvoting and maybe even a public form with feedback of what is wrong. Until we are there, we should consider to change the design. A first step could potentially be to just change the order of Tagged by and Script owner. Potentially it might affect some Javascripts, so we have to test it a bit.by magma1447 - Miscellaneous
There aren't any great news to tell actually. The plan was to be able to provide it about 6 weeks after the moratorium was lifted. However there has been quite a few smaller issues related to the challenge checkers that we found more urgent. We will start working on this task again during next week. You have probably had an alert on the top of the page saying: QuoteTo be able to write in the forum you need a verified email address. You can fix that in Settings, meanwhile you are browsing the forum as a guest. It was a bug that you could post regardless of that. That bug has now been corrected. Considering the fact that there is only one geocache for four of the 7 types in that area, not counting events, I would see it as an issue if I were a reviewer, for several reasons. mapby magma1447 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
This challenge is very likely to violate rule #11 in the guidelines. It would be great if you could ask your reviewer if the challenge would be OK before any time is spent on it. Technically it's not a problem to create such challenge checker.by magma1447 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
It is correct that this will violate rule 14. Positive Challenge Criteria. You should check with your reviewer to get approval, or adjust the requirements to something else.by magma1447 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
I have deleted the tag for you. Hopefully we can make it easier to remove the tags in the future.by magma1447 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Basing a challenge on GC-Codes is against the guidelines. https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=206#criteriaby magma1447 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
As Target states. The only difference is that a logged in user will not see the coordinates of premium geocaches. Therefore a checker that is dependent on latitude longitude might not handle it correctly if the user running it isn't premium. Project-GC would expect the script creator to handle the feedback. But a general warning could be expected (which we haven't really thought abouby magma1447 - Miscellaneous
I have disabled the checker in itself since it's not accurate. Hopefully someone can provide a correct one. Sadly it wasn't an easy change since the script used didn't support a forced order. I would assume a new script needs to be created for this one, at least I couldn't find anything existing that was usable.by magma1447 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
This is actually exactly what the guideline is written against. I think you should discuss this with the reviewer before anyone spends time on it.by magma1447 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
I love the expression CDO, I use that sometimes as well. If something needs to be moved that you can't move, just post the links here and I will get to it.by magma1447 - Miscellaneous
I am fairly sure it's 300 unique MM-DD (300/366). It seems to be a copy of Target's, which I assume is a copy of mine in Skåne. :)by magma1447 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
A patch made a long time ago that left a $mysqli->free_result() in a place where there was no result anymore. It was related to using descriptions in checkers I think.by magma1447 - Script development
I might have found an issue, but if so, it must have been broken for quite some time. I found something strange in the code, but it's code that hasn't been touched for months. Anyway. I will release a fix, it's out there in a few minutes. Since the script/tag is disabled, I can't test run it easily.by magma1447 - Script development
"if possible I would love if challenge's criteria include the time limit of 1 week to do it" FYI, all time limits are against the new guidelines.by magma1447 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

My guess is that it requires a new script then, which puts you back to square zero. But I am not 100% certain. You could wait for feedback from Vogelbird.by magma1447 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
86 was including GC6F493 which is an event cache. To me your request isn't clear if events are allowed to be included in the D5+T5 count. But it's clear they are not included in 5 cache types. Vogelbird has excluded them from both. It seems like he can change that if you didn't mean so.by magma1447 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
It's technically not a problem as long as someone provides the data of which counties are neighbors with each other, a connection list. Similar requests needing the same data (but other countries) has been asked a few times in the forum already. There is no script ready that does this. So it's best to create the list in a format that a developer would like, to make it easier for himby magma1447 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
It's correct that you have found 31 D5 and 64 T5. But since some of them are 5/5 (both D5 and T5) the sum is only 86. Do you really want 5/5 to count twice? That might require some work. I am not sure what magic vogelbird can provide for that.by magma1447 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
We have just released a new feature for the forum which we are beta testing. It's only available for the "Checker request" forum, and that's also the plan. Every new post gets its subject prefixed with in blue. Moderators that answers the post can choose a new status for the topic. I hope the statuses are self explanatory. I'll try to elaborate on what vogelbird said. To publish a challenge you need to fulfill it yourself. Since you don't have 25 yourself it doesn't make sense to make a tag for that, unless you have plans to improve your own stats first.by magma1447 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)

There are many countries that doesn't obviously belong to a specific continent. Vogelbird asked about a few of them. For a checker to be created this needs to be defined by the cache owner. From the top of my head I can list another three: * Turkey * Egypt * Russia Greenland isn't too obvious to me either.by magma1447 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Press "Use checker" first and clone from in there. It's a bug that it's not working where you are trying to. We are looking into that.by magma1447 - Miscellaneous
