It had the challenge attribute when I looked at it so it was clearly added by the algorithm (since it had the attribute but not the "challenge" in the name, no more checker and is not a mystery). If the attribute is no longer there it has been removed since the cache was added to the list.by Pleu - Challenge checker exceptions
Even if the data is wrong in your case it's much better in other cases, but the main benefit is that it can actually be updated in a smoother way so errors can be corrected which should benefit all. If you found an error in the old data, the odds is that the only answer Project-GC could give was along the lines of ”sorry, nothing we can do about that because the error is in the data.”. :) Soby Pleu - Miscellaneous
As I said, you could use the orange support button on Project-GC if you need to come in contact with support. That's the correct way to do it. You don't need to download Discord to use it though, you can use it in browser. It's also not a "gamer chat application" but that's a bit off topic I guess. Project-GC will not change back to the old data but the new daby Pleu - Miscellaneous
I suggest taking this conversation to Discord since that is the recommended channel for the polygon update discussion: https://discord.gg/4xCGTcAFdk I also recommend to use the support button at Project-GC if you have these kinds of issues, not to write to magma1447 on his player account at Geocaching.com. Are you sure you need a checker for this? Since you're not allowed to put a checker on a traditional I assume you just want the data and if you just want the data you could just use the Top Finders top list with the filter Bookmark list to see a top list based on that Bookmark list. Wouldn't that give you the data you need? Top list can be found here: https://project-gc.com/Statisticby Pleu - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
@DrAcorn: There are a couple of scripts available that "converts" from UK administrative counties to UK geographic counties, I'm no expert in UK counties but I would hope there are only two parallell county-systems atleast. :) None of those scripts seem to handle using cache title to fill counties, but either if somebody feels like maintaining bookmark lists or if one of the scripby Pleu - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)

Thank you for the quick reply! Great to hear that you're happy with it, I'm glad I was able to solve this for you. :)by Pleu - Miscellaneous
I'm glad it works better for you! I made the "air line" between the end points a little thicker and a little less transparent, I also made the same changes to the big red circle and the line of the green area shown in the checker. Let me know if this works for you. The problem I see is that if I make the "air line" to thick it will be a bit hard to see/understand tby Pleu - Miscellaneous
I have full colorvision and never realized that script had orange circles because they blended in with the map I usually use. A clone of the checker wont change the color of the circles. I made a suggestion to Project-GC to add grayscale maps and they said they would check if that's possible (depends on the map-library they use). In the mean time I made a colorblindness-version of the chby Pleu - Miscellaneous
@Deepdiggingmole Yes, per the guidelines the challenge need to have the English word Challenge. Not challange, not défi, not haaste, not Herausforderung. Challenge.by Pleu - Challenge checker exceptions
They have been automatically added by an algoritm because they at the moment of the addition either lacked the word challenge or the challenge attribute, if they have both the word challenge and the attribute now then this have been corrected since they where added.by Pleu - Challenge checker exceptions
@sloth96 You should ask HQ about this before spending any time on a checker even with the new data.by Pleu - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)

@vogelbird Well, then we clearly have different work flows. I find it hard to follow a process/procedure I'm not aware of so some transparency would have been helpful. :)by Pleu - Miscellaneous

Yes, this is a known issue related to the newest release with the updated map polygons and Project-GC and the script writers are working on getting this back up and running again.by Pleu - Miscellaneous
As I understand it this would require a totally new script, this would mean that somebody would have to spend time on making everything "from scratch" instead of just adding a new tag like I did. Since this is a grandfathered challenge it is unlikely that somebody would want to spend that much time on it. I agree with vogelbird's suggestion tho, this challenge is old enough thatby Pleu - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Here is a new checker that tests for owner name instead of "placed by" like the old one did, but please note that this would make it easier for people to lose their qualification of the challenge, every time a cache is adopted this will lead to a new result in this checker. https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC3R8C3/60924 Please test and reply with which checker you want to use, yby Pleu - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

No worries pieterix, I've spent some hours with this data so I have a head start. :) Here's a list of the merges/divides that I found, if the country/area of the disabled checker is not on this list the reason for disable is some version of border changes. Most likely the reason can be found in the list of changes from magma1447's first post, some countries will for example haveby Pleu - Checker news
Please note that none of the disabled checkers will have "minor name changes" as the reason for disable, minor name changes should already have been taken care of manually and if I've missed them they will not be on the disable list. @pieterix For checker 53961 the changes are: Chur (18) and Haldenstein (18) was merged and is now Chur, Neuchâtel (24) was merged with Peseux (24)by Pleu - Checker news
Things like this is better posted in https://project-gc.com/qa/ and not in the test forum. My understanding is that lab caches uses a different API and the decision to make them a paid membership feature was based on the amount of work and related costs it took to get them to be included in the stats at all. The members asked for this and got it but it comes at a cost. That cost is that itby Pleu - Test Forum

QuoteGC598PW Study the properties and see if you own a monopoly on any of the colors and post which one(s) on your log (which is optional). This is done by having found all the caches in a given color. If you happen to be the cache owner of a property it still counts towards a monopoly for that color. Cumulative distance between caches found is an acceptable challenge criteria, the "data available on geocaching.com"-part is that all the coordinates are available on Geocaching.com and you could in theory calculate the distance yourself from the coordinates.
