Here are the other checkers.... let me know if you are happy with them. Small things like the output format can be easily changes, so don't be shy..... if I cant do it easily I will tell you :-) https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC927BT/56064 https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC99999/56063by GreyHams - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
There are only 7 sizes recognised by the Project-GC system.... micro, small, regular, large, virtual, other, not-chosen. There is NO unknown size. The updated script works for you (and me) if I select - 9 unique D & T - 7 types (it works for me on 8 as well) - 7 sizes The original checker URL is still valid.(for the min 7 types with unique DT). https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC9by GreyHams - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
No worries, I will modify the script, probably tomorrow....and update the tag on the existing GC code checkerby GreyHams - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
es, you have accurately surmised that the script currently supports your first two challenges, but not the third. I wanted to make sure I was on the right track. So, you are happy with the output and how this works..... I will expand it to allow for additional fields (and rename them.... I had 'primary' & 'secondary' trying to be more generic, but it makes it less obviby GreyHams - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I have sort of created this.... I will let you try it and form your own opinion. https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC90MQF/55979 It specifies a 'minimum' of unique D & T.... (max of 9).... it also allows you specify a 'tertiary' field is....such as 'type' or 'size' and specify a minimum number of unique values for that tertiary field. Sorry for the delay, I have deleted my checkersby GreyHams - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Sorry, but Lab caches do not have locations in the system (along with other data they are missing such as D/T). This challenge explicitly is restricted to a county, so without location data attached to the Lab, its impossible.by GreyHams - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi, just some quick questions: - what 6 types? - a find in ANY January will count as your January, not in a calendar year (which likely wouldnt be allowed)?by GreyHams - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hello, Yes this would be possible, though it doesn't exist at this time (most checkers use existing scripts with different configuration). If we created a new script for your challenge it would be unlikely to be reused for other challenges, which is a factor. Groundspeak guidelines would require each month Jan, Feb... would be 'any' January....not necessarily in the same yby GreyHams - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Done! Its changed to 123 :-)by GreyHams - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Here is your checker, can you please test it and get back to us https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC8YBKQ/53805by GreyHams - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Yes! I have modified the checker to give output.... is this what you ad in mind?by GreyHams - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Yes, its possible. Please note that according to guidelines, ANY find July counts....across multiple years. Can you please test and get back to us https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC8Y38T/53803by GreyHams - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
The second and third 'test' are passed by everybody, as there is no minimum. They were only there to show the totals for each county. If anyone else can tag an existing script to provide an acceptable output, or of course write a new script, then please do.by GreyHams - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
This is as close as I could get. I suspect that it could be done 'nicer' with the easy tagging script, but not sure. If anyone else wants to try, please do. https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC8E7ZN/53666by GreyHams - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Sorry, a typo on my part... the 'Fairfax city (VA)" county is spelt with a small 'c'. All fixed.by GreyHams - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Here is your new checker. I looked at the last one but it seemed like a blank stub....not sure why (edit: therefore I wasn't sure what script the old one was based up and if it could be easily modified... my apologies to the original checker creator if so). Can you test this new one and get back to us. https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC8E7ZN/53637 Mods/Admins: could you pleaseby GreyHams - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Here is a functionally identical checker to the one you referenced: https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC8XZC5/53602 I cannot remove the last one, that will have to wait for one of the adminsby GreyHams - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
OK, I have removed the previous checker. I managed to find a script that can do your first request, can you please test it and get back to us. https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC8XYZ5/53599by GreyHams - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Not sure if the first one requires a new script.... I made the second one, but unfortunately you don't qualify..... is it you requesting the checker? Edit: here is the checker..... https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC8XYZY/53598by GreyHams - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
HI, the script was written to effectively ignore 'leap-day', but not suppress it in the results If a cacher found 365 days (with or without 29 Feb) then the script would say 'complete'. I have now suppressed the output for all finds on 29 Feb.... they don't affect the checker at all, but at least the output will no longer mention 29 Feb (at least in the calendarby GreyHams - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Sorry for the delay. I have cloned the script and modified it to do everything you wanted. Here is a link to the new checker: https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC8T37K/53142by GreyHams - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I am very sorry, but the Geocaching challenge guidelines state that no challenge is allowed to require a person to OWN a cache. https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=127&pgid=206by GreyHams - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
The original script had a note saying "Only works with small number of counties... due to memory usage" If I make this script with minimum 9, it works with you, though does take 28 seconds to run!... but not with 10. So, 9 is the maximum. I have left all of the 10 counties to check in, with the limit of you need caches in 9 of them, while fulfilling the DT requirements.
