Would you mind holding on this one please? I'm asking my local reviewer for further info on how I can use the concept to meet the rules. Many thanksby oz_bean_counter - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Hi Brains Trust, I've tested an idea for a challenge cache with one of my local reviewers, and there were no immediate objections. That doesn't guarantee it will get published, though I'd like to give it a good shot. We've already got challenges to get a certain number or percentage of the oldest caches in an area (country or county, etc). This excludes caches that the indivby oz_bean_counter - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
I'm sorry but since the introduction in 2016 of the challenge guidelines this type of challenge is no longer allowed. Please read https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=127&pgid=206#criteria QuoteNot allowed: These cache page elements: cache titles, cache owner, GC Codes, publishing Reviewer, or cache page text.by oz_bean_counter - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
I am not aware of a checker that does that, although a more experienced checker creator might. However, can I suggest you run your idea past a reviewer first, as DT art is not permitted.by oz_bean_counter - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Unfortunately this doesn't meet the challenge cache criteria. See criteria #10, "Requiring cachers to own a cache." https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=127&pgid=206by oz_bean_counter - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Unfortunately, 360 challenges are no longer published by HQ. You can check out the challenge cache guidelines here: https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=127&pgid=206 In particular, criteria 10 states: Challenges based on geographic areas other than countries, states/provinces, counties (or their local equivalent). This means that people who don't meet the challenge may see an error message rather than a "does not meet challenge" message. There is an iterative component to some checkers that make them time out for cachers who don't meet the challenge - it also occurs with an iterative checker I have. There aren't going to be too many cachers who have 14 unique types.by oz_bean_counter - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Hi sumbloke, Thanks for creating the checker for GC8XQEC. Really appreciate your effort! I've just had it pointed out to me that the requirement for at least one event cache of any kind has not been integrated into the checker. The cache description states: This one-of-everything challenge requires you to: Find at least one cache for each of the sizes (Micro, Small, Regular, Larby oz_bean_counter - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

I have replaced the checkers for GC5JDTW, GC5JDXA, GC5JDZ4, GC5JE1W, GC5JE2V, GC5JEQ4, GC5JETV, GC5JEVG, GC5JEY9, GC5JEZX, GC5JF0K and GC5JF1E. Thanks to sumbloke for the original checkers. However, as they've now been replaced, can they please be deleted / removed? Appears I don't have sufficient permissions to edit / delete them. You may find a review won't publish this cache, because it violates the challenge cache guidelines: https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=127&pgid=206 In particular, you can't reference a cache title as a source of criteria (#10)by oz_bean_counter - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)

Ahh brilliant! The existing code base does do what I wanted, and I'm a happy lady. Can we associate the full checker with GC90MQF please. Really appreciate your help!by oz_bean_counter - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Very very much appreciate the code base development here. Being a learner, I checked out the code. Can we have a look at line 126 please? if conf.tertiaryField ~= nill then This works for the first two challenges I was intending to create... This isn't quite working as expected. When testing on a friend, I got this: "Find at least one T1 mystery cache for the 8 difficulty levels D1.5 - D5.0." I have created a draft challenge cache GC91T0G. Can I please have a script written for the following requirements? Find at least one T1 mystery cache for the 8 difficulty levels D1.5 - D5.0. Hi vogelbird, While you've got the hood up (so to speak) - I had intended three new challenges, all based on the idea of requiring all 9 D's and all 9 T's in exactly 9 caches, but with additional requirements as below. The first challenge (the challenge listed above) would require the 9x9 in 9 also contain at least 7 different types, the second challenge would require at leaby oz_bean_counter - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Hi, I'd like to create a new challenge cache - the Whole 9 Yards Challenge. This challenge asks cachers to find one of every difficulty, and one of every terrain, in no more than 9 caches. This is not limited to the diagonals of the DT matrix - any combination of DTs so that all 9 of them are covered in exactly 9 caches. Hi, I have been required to split one challenge into two.
