That works fine, many thanks.by Ky Devas - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I see, thanks for clarifying. I will use Carrots, Flour, Granola, Ham, Potato, Yogurt. So, can I have a checker that checks for the following number of attribute finds please and I will amend the wording on the cache page. Available 24/7 x 5 Challenge Cache x 1 Field Puzzle x 1 Geocaching.com solution checker x 2 Horses x 1 Long Hike x 2 May require wading x1 Night cacheby Ky Devas - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Could I have a checker for this please. Challenge:- Using the first letter of the attributes from the cache pages of your finds you have to spell out the following 8 items on a shopping list. You can use letters more than once. The items are:- Carrots, Flour, Granola, Halloumi, Mushrooms, Nuts, Potato, Yogurt. There is a challenge cache based on the same principle that was published on 26by Ky Devas - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Thanks. I had read these before I contacted my reviewer to see if I had missed any reason why this was not ok and on reading them again the challenge still seems fine as they specifically say under 4 that challenges can be based on attributes. Shame as this would have been a bit of fun instead of the same repetative challenges. Thanks anyway.by Ky Devas - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
That's a shame. I clicked on your link to read about it but get an error message "404 Not Found." Could you repost it please. Thanks.by Ky Devas - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Hello, Could I have a checker for the following please. The challenge is to find 10 items spelt using the first letter of attributes on caches the cacher has found, e.g. Ticks is T and Special Tool Required is S. Letters can be used again in the same word if needed. The words are Bacon, Bananas, Candy, Cod, Comb, Flour, Ham, Mango, Soya, Sultanas. I have run this past our local reviewer whoby Ky Devas - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
That works :) Have added it to the cache page, many thanks for updating that so quickly, Ky Devasby Ky Devas - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I think there are only 2 that apply - GC4C35 GC45CCby Ky Devas - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hello, Could someone please check the checker for GC7598B as it is now allowing the old travelling caches which should not be allowed like GC4C35 - see the last log for the cache. Many thanks, Ky Devasby Ky Devas - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
OK, thanks.by Ky Devas - Miscellaneous
Hello, Just wondering if it is possible for a checker to be able to check if a cacher has found caches with attributes where the first letter of the attribute spelt a specific word, for e.g. crawl? Ky Devasby Ky Devas - Miscellaneous
Many thanks for clarifying, I'll amend the challenge to hidden dates, Ky Devasby Ky Devas - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hello, I have had a query about this checker from a cacher. I have set the challenge to find caches published on or before 31/12/2002 but it looks like the checker is going by hidden on dates rather than published dates. Could you clarify which date is being used by the checker please. Thanks, Ky Devasby Ky Devas - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Ah, yes, because the qualification line has a green tick against it we had both assumed that meant he met that criteria. I'll let him know that is just a header and to ignore the tick. Many thanks, Ky Devasby Ky Devas - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hello, The checker for this is throwing up some results I and the cacher concerned don't understand. Are you able to clarify what they mean please? If you put Stoke Bunnies into the checker he seems to meet the criteria, but has 2 red crosses with criteria we don't understand, and so he doesn't meet the criteria. Thanks, Ky Devasby Ky Devas - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Ah, I didn't realise that. Should I leave it as it is now as the new GC numbers all have the cloned checkers or do I need to go back and change all the GC numbers - if so what do I do about the cloned ones?by Ky Devas - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hello, For Vogelbird. The challenge caches I initially submitted were part of a geoart series. I then got feedback from cachers that they did not like challenge caches as part of geoart as if they could not achieve the challenge then the geoart had bits missing. I thought this a fair comment to make, so moved the challenges to stand alone caches with a different GC number and did a different puby Ky Devas - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hello, Sumbloke, that checker seems fine, thanks, Ky Devasby Ky Devas - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hello, Could I have a checker for GC7595K please. The reviewer has ok'd it and I have achieved it. The challenge is to have found:- 5 caches with both of the positive attributes "night cache" and "flashlight required." 8 caches with the positive attribute "may require wading." 20 caches with the positive attribute "field puzzle." 1 cache wiby Ky Devas - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Many thanks, this is fine now, Ky Devasby Ky Devas - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Thanks, fingers crossed, Ky Devasby Ky Devas - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Is it possible to restrict these caches to one find, so that you can only have one GC number once? If you look at DEVONMAIDEN, 6,000 of the 10,000 are from 4 finds of the same cache, which defeats the object of the challenge, Ky Devasby Ky Devas - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hello, Could you exclude travelling caches like GC4C35 Cuckoo Cache (could be anywhere) and GC45CC Ye Ole Survey Monuments please, as these can be logged numerous times. Thanks, Ky Devasby Ky Devas - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hello, Could I have a checker for the following challenge please. Find caches in Europe whose favourite points (FPs) when added together amount to 10,000 FPs or more. Ten of these caches must have been found in the UK. At least four of the UK caches must have 250 FPs or more. At least one cache from Europe, excluding the UK, must have 1000 FPs or more. The rest can be any number of FPsby Ky Devas - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hello, Apologies for the delay in replying, I've been away at the Kent Mega. Yes, this is fine, many thanks, Ky Devasby Ky Devas - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Hello, Could I have a checker for GC71TYC please. The reviewer has confirmed this is ok and I have qualified for it. The challenge is to have found 10 caches that were published on or before 31st December 2002 in the SW region of England. Caches that have been found and qualify but are now archived need to count (reviewer requested I ensure the checker does this). Ah, apologies. This is correct now, sorry about the extra work and thanks for sorting it so quickly, it's appreciated, Ky Devasby Ky Devas - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
That's much better, thanks for that. There is one amendment needed, the filter should only include Cornwall, Devon and Somerset for the 3 SW virtuals. Many thanks, Ky Devasby Ky Devas - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
It is one of those grandfathered virtuals that moves around and cachers are allowed to log it again everytime it is in a new place, so any standard checker would allow for numerous finds of this particular cache. Yes, please exclude it completely, Ky Devasby Ky Devas - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
