This challenge looks amazing! That checker is brilliant. Would you mind if I mimic this challenge in Idaho, with credit to Skyecat and Hugh?by CheekyBrit - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hello sir or madam. The challenge for GCA29HQ is to find 100 unique Cache Type & Find Month pairs. The day found and year found do not matter. Any cache type is valid except for benchmark and lab caches. This is part of the gridbusters series and the visual grid is one of the biggest parts. This request is a bit cheeky, but would you please include a visual grid as a part of the checker ouby CheekyBrit - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hello sir or madam, Thanks for being a checker builder. You help geocaching be as amazing as it is. The challenge for GCA2GWV is to have found 'unknown' type geocaches that were hidden on at least 180 different dates on the calendar. They can be hidden any year. They can be found any date, in any location, be of any difficulty, size, and terrain. Worded another way, you need to filby CheekyBrit - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
That link is absolutely fantastic. I tried checking it against the information I have and everything I saw matched. Thank you very much!by CheekyBrit - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hello. This series of challenges is still under construction. The plan is to make some hidden date charts for each different size and each different type. Knowing how many to require will change based on how well local geocachers are doing (we at least need 10 to qualify, including my self in order to publish. I heard word from a PGC checker writer in the geocaching forums that you are able toby CheekyBrit - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Gotcha. I'll try and reach out to jpavlik somehow. Thanks all the same, I really appreciate your help. Have a great thanksgiving!by CheekyBrit - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
The checker works for both positive and negative tests. Splendid! Thank you for building that checker, Vogelbird. I do have another cheeky request, and I'm happy to pay for membership time as this is above and beyond building a functional checker - which you've done brilliantly. Would you be willing to produce a visual chart output something like If not, I totally get it, I canby CheekyBrit - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hello sir or madam. Will you please help me build a checker for GCA202A? The challenge is to have found 40 different size/type combos I've already gotten this approved past my local reviewer, iceandwind, and we are good to proceed. I have qualified for this challenge and my qualifications look like this: If possible I was hoping to have the output include a visual chart looking sometby CheekyBrit - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hello sir or madam, Will you please help make this challenge checker? The challenge for GCA202A is to have at least 40 unique combinations of size and type of geocache. Lab caches don't count. They can be of any difficulty and terrain, and from anywhere on the planet. I personally qualify with 44. Here is the chart of my finds: I was hoping the output would look something like this. Everything is good with everything different. the GC code was right, the link worked, it behaved as expected for positive and negative tests and works lightning fast. Better still, it has an amazing output displaying the number of combinations for the unsuccessful results at the count they currently have. Well played. Thank you again!by CheekyBrit - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hello and good day sir or madam, The challenge for GCA1ETE is to find 7 geocaches that have nothing in common in the following categories: size, type, state, difficulty, and terrain. The qualifying geocaches can be any types that you want (except lab caches) as long as all 7 are different. They can be any difficulties as you want as long as they are all different, same with terrain and U.S. stby CheekyBrit - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hello Olalb. I was too hasty and didn't run enough tests. The checker worked for the few I did but my reviewer found some odd inconsistencies. Here's their (Ice&Wind's) experience in playing with the checker: Hi, This challenge concept and cache location look okay but I'm seeing strange, inaccurate, results from the checker. For example, for user jcar the checkeby CheekyBrit - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hugh, great point. It hinges on the interpretation of that rule applying or not to this challenge. I'll run it past my local reviewer.by CheekyBrit - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Sorry, used a friend's device to respond while out in the field doing a CITO. CheekyBrit here, Yes, you can absolutely adapt this checker for a challenge of your own. Make sure it gets adjusted to reflect your GC code.by CheekyBrit - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
bmuzzin, you are an absolute BEAST! this checker is fantastic. I don't know what black magic wizardry you did behind the scenes but that works so fast and it worked for both positive and negative tests. AMAZING! The output is also just incredible with the green highlight on each increase. Please do use this challenge checker for your own challenge, especially with how much work went intoby CheekyBrit - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
You are doing something that is so far beyond me. You have my awe, appreciation, and as much patience as you need.by CheekyBrit - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but this checker request isn't resolved just yet. The checker is displaying that I have only 18 out of 20 but I found a list of 22 qualifying finds. You can see the image in the last post. I don't know what is causing the false result but I'm guessing it takes the closest path instead of the longest path. Here are my qualifying finds that give me a list 22 long. This sounds like a challenging checker to build. Thank you for your help with this.by CheekyBrit - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hello Bmuzzin. Thank you for helping with this script. I tried to open the link to check it out against my finds and for some reason I couldn't. The page opened up and said the checker was disabled with this message beneath: "If you found this link on a cache page you could inform the cache owner of the issue if it persists for more than 24 hours." When I tried to do a time sensitive version it had a fifth column of data that needed to join the 'don't decrease and at least one category has to increase'. That challenge was against the rules due to time limiting, but I knew the coding would use a fourier series after talking with the mathematics community. This is less columns so maybe it doesn't need a fourier series.by CheekyBrit - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I tried to design something similar before but it didn't fit within the time restricted rules like this challenge does. Like the childhood trading game of 'bigger better', you are trying to find a group of at least geocaches that are bigger or better than each other. Date found is not a factor so this is not time limited in any way. We are using difficulty, terrain, type, and siby CheekyBrit - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hello. The challenge request for this cache is: For each of any 3 counties, find a pair of geocaches in the same county that have a difference in elevation of at least 3000'. They can be any type, difficulty, and terrain, and found any date. The three pairs do have to be in different counties. The 3 counties can be any you want in any state. The challenge checker undoubtedly cuts the mustard. Everything works. The positive tests, negative tests, and the link all work a treat. Thanks for the help vogelbird!by CheekyBrit - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

GC9TJ06 - the challenge is to find geocaches of all nine different terrain ratings that all have the 'stealth required' attribute. Previously GC9TJ06 had an illegal challenge checker made - events at 5 different terrains. Hello. I had some brilliant help building checkers for GC9TJ11 and GC9TJ1E and I thought they were working fine. I've noticed some issues and they need a bit of tinkering. https://project-gc.com/forum/read?11,62144 GC9TJ11 is not working for some usernames, such as 'ladderguy' and it gives the result "102: attempt to concatenate a nil value" as a caught exception.by CheekyBrit - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
This checker was working but for some reason it has switched to requiring 30 days instead of 10. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks for your help.by CheekyBrit - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I tried a few names on the checker that I know pass, such as 'ladderguy' and the script was unable to run. Error 102 struggling with a nil value. Certain usernames seem to trip it up every time. I tried refreshing the browser and my computer and it was the same usernames that caused the issue each time. Any idea what's happening?by CheekyBrit - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Sorry to be a pain Vogelbird, I overestimated the skills of geocachers in Utah and Idaho. Only 4 of us qualify and I need to make this challenge easier. Please adjust it to only 10 days required instead of 15 days. Many thanks!by CheekyBrit - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
