Re: GC6QR2E CHALLENGE CHECKER NEEDED FOR 500 MILE CHALLENGE
he cache is at the listed location, but you will need to meet the challenge before logging it. The challenge is to find at least two (2) caches on the same calendar day at least 500 miles apart. Start the day in one place, find a cache, then head 500 miles away and find another. You do not have to start at your home, just two caches 500 miles apart. A few rules: - All caches must be found on the same calendar day, not a 24-hour period. - The following cache types count traditional, unknown, multi, letterbox hybrid, whereigo , Virtuals, earthcaches, events, CITO, and geocaching challenges. - The caches must be at least 500 miles apart, not a cumulative total of 500 miles. For example, you wake up at your home in Georgetown, KY and find a cache, then fly to Seattle and find a cache on the same calendar day you qualify. If you start the day with a cache find in Georgetown, then drive to Cleveland,Oh find a cache, then drive to Dayton,OH and find a cache, you do not qualify because the caches are not at least 500 miles apart even though you traveled more than 500 miles. - You may already qualify -- there is no date restriction. - Please list the two caches and the distance apart in your log. - This cache cannot count as one of the two finds needed to qualify.
