[Resolved] GC30KGP

I have a checker creation request. It is for https://coord.info/GC30KGP

It's not a rush as it is an older challenge. It's one that is tough to document. Since the last person to write a log on it was a lackey, I thought I might look into getting a checker created for it.

I'm not 100% it will be possible to create a checker as access is needed to a cache owner's geo-birthday (the date the membership was created).

I think the requirements on the cache page are pretty clear, but please ask if it's not.

That looks like it will need to have a new script written. Don't hold your breath, since this sort of challenge would no longer be allowed, so it's likely to be low priority for most script writers.

Question. Does there really need to be a party in question 3? Is this supposed to be a formal geocaching event that everyone attends? Do I need to host the event for me to qualify or can someone else host it?

Or are you just saying find caxhes that have owners who's geo birth month is common to you and have different initial letters in their caching name?

No party or event necessary. It's just a reference to the name/theme of the challenge. Thematically you are putting together a list of people to invite to your party. SO the answer is yes to your second question.

Would it be possible to do two minor tweaks to make the wording match the theme of the cache and be consistent with logs prior to the checker implementation?

1) Change the wording of the first lines from:

I have joined the geocaching on 2012-03-10
My qualified founds:

to:

My geo-birthday is 2012-03-10
My qualified finds:

2) For missing finds change place holder to"

will not attend (not found yet)


If that's too much trouble, I'll live. The important stuff is spot on.
