[Resolved] 3 checkers

Hello again,

Three new checkers please.

GC72GEY
To log this cache, you must have found at least one cache placed in January of 2001 and up to the present year. This is a Jasmer challenge with a twist. Instead of using a single year I am using a single month across multiple years.

GC72VBA
A Fizzy with a twist. In order to log this cache you must have filled a complete Fizzy Grid (Difficulty and Terrain) with caches that contain the 'Stealth Required' attribute.

GC72KR1
Shades of green in the 365 calendar. The increments of green are;
1-10
11-25
26-100
101+
The challenge is to have a minimum of 100 squares with 11-25, 50 squares with 26-100 and 3 square 101+

The first one I can do quite quickly if you would allow it for any one month being complete (2001-nowish for January-April, 2000-nowish for the other months). Can't think of an easy way to tag it specifically for January.

I'm also thinking about the best way to handle the third one.

I have assumed that going over the top of the band would still count the day, since doing otherwise would breach guideline 14. Therefore I've coded it as 3 101+, 53 26+ and 153 11+ days (because the same day will count on multiple checks). If you'd like me to change it at all, let me know.

Not sure what you mean by nowish but January 2001-December 2001 inclusive at least one fine in each month from anywhere in the world, any cache type.

"Nowish" was referring to the last valid instance of that month. So that month this year if it's this month or earlier, last year if that month hasn't occurred yet this year.

I didn't mention in that description that I could also quite easily start the months from 2001 for all months if you don't want to worry about the months in 2000. It's also possible to exclude the current month if you prefer.

I like the Fizzy stealthy twist. That one has been put in for publication.

The shades of green looks good. 53, 103, 153 works. You are correct that the checker should not count a square twice for two different values.

January Jasmer. However you can make it work. Must find at least one cache each month of January for years 2001 to the present. The series will continue for each month and will include the year 2000 from May-December. If it's easier to include the year 2000 in the months January-April then exclude that year then okay.

problem with the checker. It showed a positive result for someone who does not qualify.

I had said that I didn't know of any script which could do the requirements you provided and suggested an alternate requirement which I could create a checker for, namely qualifying for any one month being filled. bestactuary has qualified for that requirement with five different months filled.

An update to GC72KR1

According to our reviewers and GS this challenge is not allowed. From the reviewer, the following;
"Sorry but I have now had input from a number of other reviewers as well as Geocaching HQ and the conclusion is that challenge criteria requiring finding more than 1 cache on a date, even if cumulative, is not permitted."

I will need to delete the link of the checker to this GC so that I can do another challenge. Thanks for your work on it though.
