[Resolved] New checker for nb days / month for 1 year

The chalenge is to have discovered at least as many caches as there are days in the month, therefore 31 caches in January, 28 or 29 in February, etc. and this over a period of 12 consecutive months (all types of caches are allowed).

Although this is less restrictive than a streak, you may find it's not allowed due to guideline 9: https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=206#timeLimited

Let us know if you get an okay from a reviewer and we'll look at it then.

I could help noticing that the type is a traditional Cache. If you ask for a checker the cache type has to be an "Unknown Cache" if not the checker will be on autodisable.

Please confirm that this is the checker you require

I understand that the type of cache to discover is 'traditional'. That if the challenge accepts any type of cache, the checker will be disabled if it encounters a cache of 'unknown' type ? What I'm looking is to ask a discovery of any type of cache (all types of caches are allowed). If it's complex to do the checker, I can ask for a traditionnal type only.

I'm sorry, I think I do not understand your topic in the first time. You speak about the type of my chalenge cache instead of the caches review by the checker. Yes I will change the cache to an Unknown type.

I check the checker on my profil and I think it is working well.

I do a new check of the checker and it does not do what it is suppose to do. It only check for a month. What it is suppose to do is to check if the geocacher discovered at least as many caches as there are days in the month, therefore 31 caches in January, 28 or 29 in February, etc. and this over a period of 12 consecutive months (all types of caches are allowed). So from january to next january, or feb to next feb etc. After 1 year, if the challange start in january, the result must be 31 or more finds in jan, 28 or more in feb, ... 31 or more in dec. = ok.

Can you check this ?

Checker is adjusted to 12 months

Several geocachers told me that the checker did not seem to work under certain circumstances (MaitreJack, VE2LHP (1 jan to dec 2012), Dumpel (since jan 2013 min 40 cache / month)).
Here is the image of stats of MaitreJack that seems to show that the challenge is reached but the checker does not validate it ?


Is it possible to do something?

Reading the listing of the challenge I must conclude that the checker is not for such a challenge. But you need a complete different checker. I will try to make a correct one for you but this will take some time as it is not a simple checker. It involves a script writer who has to make time

If I see his profil in 2016 all month are over 40 days.

The checker still need a tune up I think.
