Finally found some time to make a script for this one. Here's your checker: https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC8DZKR/45376 However it seems you haven't found any caches meeting the criteria. Even for requiring only four out of the six attributes there is only one cache you found that fits the bill (https://coord.info/GC7ZNRT). I haven't looked at it, but are there even enougby PattuX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Unfortunately the guidelines no longer allow for such a challenge. Rule 10. Source of Criteria - Not acceptable: These cache page elements: cache titles, cache owner, GC Codes, publishing Reviewer, or cache page text.by PattuX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
This is against the guidelines. Rule 14 - Not acceptable: Competition rather than achievement; example, a challenge based on "First to Finds" is a competition. Despite that there is no real way to tell FTFs, the way PGC does it is by either having the cacher submit a bookmark list of their FTFs or signal an FTF in their logs via "" or something similar - so essentially tby PattuX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Oh, didn't know this exists. Can I look up what blobs I can retrieve via GetJsonData somewhere?by PattuX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
This should be possible, but will probably require some work. Are NY and RI bordering? There is no land connecting them but technically they share a border in the water around 41.267153, -71.870133. Same question for Minnesota and Michigan at 47.593906, -89.771186.by PattuX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
The options for time-limited challenges are very sparse. The only things you can do really are filling the calendar (i.e. 365 dates) and streaks up to a year. Multiple finds a day won't be published, even if it just requires a single day with two finds. Also cumulative finds are not allowed (i.e. 2 finds on 28th September of all years combined). So not a lot of options unfortunately.by PattuX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
The only one that can really be adjusted so that it fits the guidelines is the points for the streak. That one should be ok if you set an upper limit at 365 days. There is no way to create a challenge around number of finds/types on a single day, hidden caches/FPs/Events hosted, FTFs or photo uploads. Really the only thing contributing to a challenge can be finds. The best suggestion I canby PattuX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)

Based on pieterix suggestion here's an alternative checker: https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC8DZNT/45324 Should be exactly the same except for better output. Let us know which one you prefer.by PattuX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Surprisingly I couldn't find any fitting script. I quickly extended one existing script, so here you go: https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC8DZE7/45315 Let us know if it's suitable.by PattuX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

It will only show the first 6, despite saying the first 100. There is no option to disable that for the script.by PattuX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Increased to 800, included November. Usually including Letterboxes wouldn't be a problem but the script configuration including the Letterboxes would be so long that PGC doesn't allow it. I don't know whether there is any workaround for the character limit. Maybe someone finds a solution that allows for a shorter configuration doing the same thing. Alright, should be fixed now. Same link as before, please test again and reply if it now works as intended.by PattuX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Here's a checker for you. https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC8E3ZR/45290 Let us know if it's suitable. PS: It seems you do not fulfill this challenge yet? January 483 points and December 497 points. Is it intended that Letterboxes don't award any points? Ok, adjusted the checker to only include Blackall-Tambo (R)(3). Not sure why it doesn't show the second pair, potentially because the first find is the same. I'll have a look later.by PattuX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Yes, I contacted Target. However, it's not that severe. First of all this only happens for checkers checking alphabets against owner name, since that's where things go wrong. This leaves 43 checkers. Additionally I've had a closer look at the script and Target actually checks for invalid results for each find's alphafield. Where it's actually going wrong is at the striby PattuX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
There's a button on the right that says "Link". Click it, choose the design you like best and copy the corresponding code on the right into your listing.by PattuX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Yes, pretty much. For now you can use pieterix' checker, the script used there does not have this error. We'll probably still fix the other one since other challenge caches with similar requirements are affected as well.by PattuX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I believe we cannot tell whether a cache is locked. Yes, each cache has two seperate fields for that - 'archived' and 'last_archive_date'. So filtering out caches with inconsistent fields (i.e. archived but no last_archive_date) is no problem. I looked at some old archive logs and in the source code while both do show up with "LogType":"Archive", howeby PattuX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
As long as a checker does not care about the owner name (which in the most cases it doesn't) the checker works just fine. It also does not matter when you found the caches, it matters when the owner of a cache you've found deleted their profile. I also believe the possibility to completely delete your profile and all info associated with it is only there since the European GDPR cameby PattuX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Huh, interesting. So first of all, usually archived caches are handled correctly. Their age is the time between hidden date and archive date. GC8C92 (the one with over 6000 days) does not have an archive log, which as you suggested is the issue. In that case the script currently assumes the age to be the difference between today and the hidden date which it probably shouldn't. I'dby PattuX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

No. When you enter a username in the checker, the script fetches all finds of that user from Groundspeak and then tries to find out who owns each cache the user has found. If it can't do that, the script fails. I found that it's caused by this cache you've found: https://coord.info/GC209XP (note the line "A cache by )"by PattuX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I've messaged the script creator. I suppose this happens when an owner had his profile deleted.by PattuX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
