Reviewer here. Does this challenge cache require that the geocacher must own caches in order to qualify for the challenge? "Requiring cachers to own a cache" is not an allowable challenge cache criterion.by The Leprechauns - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Reviewer here. This sounds like "grid art" rather than a geocaching achievement. We've been instructed not to publish such challenges.by The Leprechauns - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
This is beautiful script output - great job, arisoft! Question: did the challenge cache owner intend to include locationless caches as eligible? I qualify for this challenge, but ONLY because of my locationless cache finds back in the old days, since their "home coordinates" were at random spots around the world.by The Leprechauns - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Reviewer here. This sounds like "grid art," which we've been asked not to allow for challenge caches. It is not a geocaching accomplishment.by The Leprechauns - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Reviewer here. This is "time-limited caching." Are you asking for a checker for an older, grandfathered challenge cache? You didn't provide a GC Code.by The Leprechauns - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Reviewer here. As noted above, several gemstone badges are not eligible to be the subject of a challenge cache. Examples from your list include Travel Bug, Coin Collector, FTF, Busy Cacher, Long Distance and Shutterbug. When there are multiple challenge requirements, each one of them must be an eligible challenge cache subject.by The Leprechauns - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Reviewer here. "1000 caches found in one year" is not allowed - it is "time limited caching" under the challenge cache guidelines. For "1000 caches found at one weekday," do you mean cumulatively over time, and do you mean to exclude Saturdays and Sundays? As in, I find 1 or 2 caches every other Monday for several years until I get to 1000 caches found on Mondayby The Leprechauns - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Sorry, I forgot to mention that I'm a reviewer. (Not in Colorado, but hey, my daughter lives there and I enjoy caching there.) A National Park is not a county or state. For challenge cache purposes, it is a user-defined polygon. The same guideline prohibits any new "DeLorme Challenges" and many other challenges enjoyed by a decent percentage of geocachers, myself included.by The Leprechauns - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Suggested easy fix: "Find at least ___ Earthcaches in Larimer County, Colorado." (Or, "Larimer or Grand County, Colorado.") The total number of required finds needs to be a reasonable percentage of all active Earthcaches in the defined region(s), in order to allow for choice.by The Leprechauns - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Reviewer here. Yes, the requirement is an absolute - you must qualify for your own challenge. Suggestions: Encourage one of your friends to hide the cache - then you can have the satisfaction of completing the requirements, and logging a find! Finish the qualifications, and hold off until then on submitting your challenge cache for review. Relax the challenge cache requirements to matchby The Leprechauns - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Reviewer here. Assuming this is a serious request, it cannot be published under the challenge cache guidelines. The challenge cache forces a new geocacher to find this as their first find or else forever be ineligible. A challenge cache that penalizes the geocacher for finding other caches is not valid. Sorry, I forgot to say clearly in my prior response that I am a Community Volunteer Reviewer. I gave you the answer based on written guidance provided to all reviewers. You should receive the same answer from your local reviewer, but you're welcome to try! ;) I see the reviewer note you left on your cache page. Did you also email your reviewer? This checker has nice output, but for my account name, it lists locationless caches. The cache owner had asked for locationless caches to be excluded.by The Leprechauns - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Thanks, sumbloke. Your understanding remains correct. I just double-checked the guidance provided to Community Volunteer Reviewers to confirm this.by The Leprechauns - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Reviewer here. The challenge condition is to find caches in four states within one hour. As written, the challenge cache cannot be published because it is time-limited. It would be fine without the time restriction ("find caches in four states").by The Leprechauns - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Are you testing just for the negative attribute (NOT Kid Friendly)? What if it was either that OR no selection at all for that attribute? Perhaps the requester might then qualify, and the CO could still achieve their objective.by The Leprechauns - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

The tagged cache was never submitted for review, the checker was never added to the page, and the cache owner archived their page.by The Leprechauns - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Reviewer here. This is incorrect. Under the published guidance (Link to German Version), using the names of caches cannot be the basis for a challenge cache.by The Leprechauns - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
You could do "find three caches with >1000, >2500 and >4000 favorite points" - just not in one day. For example I found those three caches in your original request, but on three different days. (I was "second to find" on the Geocaching HQ cache!) So, because you cannot require finding a specific list of caches, the finder could also find three highly favorite caby The Leprechauns - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
My fellow reviewer wrote a great summary. The only thing I'm unsure of is whether the Project-GC checker can be mentioned on the "unchallenge" cache page. I might be more conservative and recommend saying "third party tools are available in order to chart your progress on the optional challenge." A smart reader would know to check Project-GC and GSAK. You missed an "or" in there. The current guidelines prohibit specifying a restriction on a streak, such as cache type, OR specifying a find count greater than one for the streak. You may have seen grandfathered pre-moratorium challenges like the one you tried to set up. The "customized streak requirements" were getting out of hand... very out of hand.by The Leprechauns - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)

Does the challenge cache owner want to exclude Locationless (Reverse) Caches? They are included in the results for two out of three countries when running the checker on my account.by The Leprechauns - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Reviewer here. I would not publish this challenge as it is "grid art" rather than a geocaching accomplishment. Also, if the exact number is required, then the challenge is not allowed because it could discourage people from finding geocaches (so as not to change the number in a particular grid spot).by The Leprechauns - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
