Hello - I've written a one-off checker for this script (as it wasn't easy to tag with an existing script) here: https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC2KYBW/72288 The checker verifies that the last 10 finders do qualify, and that somebody who doesn't qualify doesn't pass (me - boohoo, I need to travel more). Please test, verify and respond.by bmuzzin - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi there - I have written a one-off checker script for this challenge located here: https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC52APE/72252 I think it was actually condition 6 (A qualifying cache can only be used once towards the challenge. Example: A cache named "King of Spades 3" can only count towards King, Spades, or 3) was the one that disqualified this one for use with an existing cheby bmuzzin - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I've untagged it. It's unfortunate, because, mine got published. It really doesn't seem like that hard of a concept to fathom to me, and isn't really "bookkeeping" - as, for example, some of the legacy gccode based challenges were. Some of the loggers on my cache claimed they were confused about what the challenge was asking for... but I think they must be stupid.by bmuzzin - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hello - hope you haven't been holding your breath all this time... I have written a checker for this challenge here: https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC5E79M/72240 Note that according to the checker, one of the last ten loggers does not qualify. but this appears to be correct to me - they appears to only have a 2 day streak. I don't qualify myself, it's hard living in North Amby bmuzzin - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I have created a checker for this challenge: https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC5BMG1/72202 Note that it finds any solution the satisfies the requirements (if there is one), but not necessarily the 'best' solution, eg. that maximizes both the type and country count. For example, for you it returns 8 cache types and 8 countries, which satisfies the requirements, but there is obviousby bmuzzin - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I've retagged it here, without using not-chosen: https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC9Z59P/72187 Although, FWIW, my challenge was already published using the not-chosen size - nothing in the challenge rules says you can't use it. Removing not-chosen actually makes the challenge *harder*.by bmuzzin - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I've been looking at this, and the requirements here aren't well defined, and there's a bunch of ambiguity. While the challenge is understandable for a single pair of DTs, using multiple pairs create a whole multitude of problems. For example, if one pair you have for (say) 1.0/1.5 and 1.5/1.0, can you then use the 1.0/1.5 with a different 1.5/1.0, and that constitutes a distinby bmuzzin - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
If I understand you correctly, you're trying to have the user's centroid of finds far away from a particular point (for example GC HQ)? This doesn't sound like it would be acceptable to me. Specifically, to pass the challenge, users would likely need to avoid finding caches near whatever the fixed point is (otherwise, their centroid will move towards that point). I'd guess theby bmuzzin - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
As with this checker request: https://project-gc.com/forum/read?8,64751 I also don't think this is possible, as it is the same problem - we can't get the attributes of the most favorited caches.by bmuzzin - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
I've started implementing this, and I don't think it's possible with the current API. The GetFavorites function doesn't return the attribute sets for the favorite caches, and there is no method to retrieve them. Since we don't know the attributes of the most favorited caches, we cannot know if they are challenges or not, and thus, there's no way to know whether youby bmuzzin - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
As vogelbird said, it's really hard to find a script that would meet these conditions. I have written a custom checker for this one, which will likely only be useful for this particular challenge, so it somewhat hardcoded: https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC46XQY/71911 I have linked this script to the cache and enabled it (unlike the other request), as I have verified the tag with theby bmuzzin - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Needs feedback: I've written a checker for this script: https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCA0HJ0/71897 However, I have not linked it to the requested cache (it's currently linked to a bogus cache). I am hesitant to tag it to this cache, as I've run the checker for many recent loggers, and none of them qualify according to the script. Okay, I think I'm finally happy with it! I optimized the search, so now it completes very quickly (about 1 second). I updated the output columns, so it looks very similar to the qualifier table you posted. It gives 22 for your longest path. It's not the same path as you posted above, but it's just looking for any path that would be the longest, so I think it's still valid. I mby bmuzzin - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Hi there - Here is a link to the checker, please test and reply: https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCA0FX0/71843 (Note: this tag was cloned from https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC6JWV8/20958. If there is a challenge checker which is exactly the same as the challenge checker you require, you can use the "Clone tag..." button on that checker, and supply your new GC code).by bmuzzin - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Hi there - just an update - I'm still working through this one. You are correct, I was making a bad assumption in the original search code. I see the mistake now, and have corrected it. Unfortunately, finding the longest path on the 4 sort criteria with an exhaustive search takes considerably longer than 60 seconds, so I'm going to have to optimize it. I'll probably have to use A*by bmuzzin - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Nope - that was totally my fault. I forgot to enable the checker, which apparently if you don't, non-developers can't see it. Sorry, I'm new at this!by bmuzzin - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I have written a challenge checker for this challenge: https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC9XA74/71643 Unfortunately, according to the script I wrote, you don't pass the challenge (you have 18, not 20 - just like me)? Thus, according to the rules, you would not be able to publish it. As long as I understood it correctly, this is a very hard challenge, and very few users I've tried pby bmuzzin - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I've recently created a script where you need two finds, with the 'boat' attribute that are 6000km apart. It required a custom script, as there was no existing script that could be tagged to calculate it. It was accepted by my reviewer without question, and your request seems somewhat similar in terms of criteria. However, I think doing the actual calculation is going to prove eby bmuzzin - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Here is the link: https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC42DE0/71392 Please test and verify. FWIW, I've always wanted a checker for this one, because it's really difficult to do manually... and congrats, you qualify! (I don't - boohoo).by bmuzzin - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Hi - I'd like to request a challenge checker for GC9ZB1Q ("Around the World In Yo Boat Challenge"), to find two caches with the "Boat Required" attribute, that are at least 6000km apart. Thanks! bmuzzinby bmuzzin - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
They both work, but I'll use https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC9THY0/68658 in the cache page, so I suppose you can delete the one ending in 9? Thanks!by bmuzzin - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Hello - I'd like to create a new challenge which requires 100 finds with both Recommended-for-kids and Boat-required. I'm assuming this should just be a re-tag.
