I acknowledge that - so it would be interesting to know the math to get that %age figure A confidence score - to me simply implies that a proportion of voters have voted one way and that is higher than the proportion who have voted the other (which way is irrelevant as we know some that go on the list are challenges and some are not) The less than 35% suggests the vote is close and a decisionby Deepdiggingmole - Challenge checker exceptions
If you hoover on the number the tooltip shows how many votes there are of each kind. learn something new each day - didn't know that The 90%/+34 cache has 34 up-votes and 0 down-votes - irrespective of how it was added the numbers would suggest this should be 100% (as with many of the very obvious ones) Also - hovering over a few of those it does show how some have had 30+ votes aby Deepdiggingmole - Challenge checker exceptions
It actually says 3 votes of the same kind (i.e 3 ups or 3 downs) but once there is conflict in that then 3 wouldn't be enough - so I don't think there being a difference of 3 isn't what it means. I didn't think a specific number of votes specified a threshold or that three was the required gap I am not sure how many moderators there are though the bottom of that list suggesby Deepdiggingmole - Challenge checker exceptions
Just a query At what point does a cache that is on the exception list (and has been voted on), does it either get removed or added to the 'This is a challenge' list and therefore appear within the found list on a cachers challenge cache tab An example GC3DD4E - Challenge of the Century: 100 words This is showing with a negative vote and a score of 34% and has done for some consideby Deepdiggingmole - Challenge checker exceptions
Looking into this further - Of the 5 that were listed in the OP - I had found two of them but also have found 19 caches within the area that would appear to be the issue and this includes 4 different types - so I would have passed the Snowdonia criteria with that area alone - However having found nearly 1400 caches in N Wales (so approx 600 in the Snowdonia area) this checker was unlikely to haveby Deepdiggingmole - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Is it possible to do a checker for the challenge cache GC4H4TP The criteria is to find IN ORDER caches with ACE in the cache name (Can be just that word or part of a word or even across words such as Lilac Envy) then numbers 2 - 9 anywhere in cache name (though none from the same series) Then Jack, Queen, King (same word rule applies, can be just that word or part of a word or even across wby Deepdiggingmole - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
As far as the OP goes however - the mapping used by mygoecachingprofile.com must use an older version if Herefordshire and Worcestershire are combined which is odd since the county of Hereford & Worcester was abolished and re-divided into the separate counties of Herefordshire and Worcestershire in 1998 - long before mygoecachingprofile.com was created Anyhow - PGC use the updated county liby Deepdiggingmole - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
As Geordie Star says and researching the original checker and subsequent tagged checkers ( 16245 and 53970 ) https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC3XF1R/16245 seems to have allowed 47 counties despite the requirement being 48 - seems there was a mistake in the original checker https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC8YQ0H/53970 is the same - requirement 48 but 47 will get greenby Deepdiggingmole - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Just come across this one and am of two minds about whether this is a challenge cache or a bonus cache Simply you have to find 4 other caches (which are challenges with criteria) in each of those there are values for 8 letters which in turn give you the co-ords for this cache Though it states you do have to qualify and find all the other 4 feeder caches - there is no additional criteria. A new one to the list and already interesting to note it seems this has more down votes than up Can anyone who has down voted this one please explain why For my twopennyworth (an old English phrase meaning my opinion or thoughts) This challenge has criteria - log 100 DNFs - I know under current guidelines this negative criteria is not allowed - however this was placed in 2010, long before tby Deepdiggingmole - Challenge checker exceptions
Every so often I have a look at my list of exceptions that go against the vote (one of the tabs on the RHS) I note that this cache is still showing in the negative though the difference of opinion is very much divided. Though everyone does have their opinion - it was seen there was an issue with what and where the challenge criteria was with this one. Initially it was hidden in a .pdf Howeveby Deepdiggingmole - Challenge checker exceptions
I agree here with how restricted challenges have become - it is evident that they have simply become number crunchers and there is very little room for 'creativity' My experience is that HQ allows 'interpretation' (a phrase used in the guidelines) being left to the regions reviewers and that can vary from country to country.by Deepdiggingmole - Miscellaneous

Hi Does anyone know if there is a challenge / checker where you need to find X number of types in X number of counties Not looking to create a challenge myself (or maybe I will - but not yet) Just wanting to know if there is such a challenge and associated checker I have tried to search in the checker list but failed cheers Timby Deepdiggingmole - Miscellaneous

The above checker is one for a cache that came up on the exception list The requirements Have found at least 10 caches, in one day, that all have any one of the following attributes on the listing page: Equipment: Boat; Conditions: May require swimming; May require wading. The following two checkers relate to finding 'X' number of counties worldwide either as a specific challenge or as part of a bigger set of criteria https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC8M1XG/49322 - is 'find caches in 225 counties' https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC7V10Q/36228 - is 'get points for the number of countries/regions/counties' Thus with both of thesby Deepdiggingmole - Miscellaneous
