I don't believe this will be permitted under the Rule 10 (http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=206#criteria) : "Not acceptable: Challenges based on user-defined mapping polygons. " The latitudes are effectively user-defined polygons, however feel free to confirm with your local reviewer in case they interpret it differently. It is possible however if it is a new cache then it is very unlikely to be accepted under the geocaching rules: In particular rule 9 (http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=206#timeLimited) "Not Acceptable: Time-limited caching: as in some number of finds per day, week, month, or year. Example, Busy Day, 50 finds in a day, 500 finds in a month, etc. (new 2016)" Iby mole125 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
It isn't possible for a challenge checker to access a users home coordinates so the third criteria isn't possible to implement. I suggest that you produce a list of valid geocaching country names -> continents to be considered under you rules. I'd also suggest that you get it pre-approved by a reviewer before someone implements the checker - the reviewer may decide the reqby mole125 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
This challenge isn't permitted under the following rules (http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=206#criteria): Rule 10: Prohibited: Requiring cachers to own a cache. Rule 14: Not finding caches: design that limits or punishes any element of finding caches.by mole125 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Finding all counties in two states is doable (presumably this would just be restricted to US states). If you provide a GCCode then someone will be able to produce a checker for it. I don't believe new DeLorme style challenges are permitted anymore. The recent updates in the guidelines prohibit user defined areas and require "Challenge cache criteria may be based upon these geographicby mole125 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I've created a tag here: http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC4J7NK/21881 (it was possible to do it with my generic checker script). I've interpreted "Qualifying caches can be found in any of the 50 USA states or Washington D.C. or any USA territories" as meaning that the country must be 'United States' - let me know if this isn't correct.by mole125 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Unfortunately the guidelines do not allow this: http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=206 10. Sadly these type of challenges are no longer allowed as new challenges. Rule 10 states you can't use the following : " These listing elements: cache titles, cache owner names, GC Codes, publishing Reviewer or listing text. (new 2016)"by mole125 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Hmm, I hadn't thought of that. I've noticed this problem as well and agree that a simple bit of re-wording/re-ordering would resolve it in the majority of cases. I'd amend your suggestion however and have the Tagged by appear before the script author to help cover the people who just click on the first name they see without reading properly! I've also reworded the script author description to make it even cleareby mole125 - Miscellaneous
Sure, or apply to be a script writer (assuming it has been re-opened) and you can help with other people's scripts as well :Dby mole125 - Miscellaneous
Unfortunately this type of challenge is now against the rules: "Time-limited caching: as in some number of finds per day, week, month, or year. Example, Busy Day, 50 finds in a day, 500 finds in a month, etc. (new 2016)" http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=206#timeLimitedby mole125 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
It depends on how complicated the script is, how interesting writing the script would be, and if someone feels enthused to create the script. Remember everybody writing scripts are volunteers so there is no guarantee that someone will decide to implement any particular script.by mole125 - Miscellaneous
I really don't understand why you think they violate rule 14? In fact I'd argue they are perhaps one of the most positive types of challenges as they encourage people to go out and find neglected caches that otherwise they wouldn't consider - a cache only becomes lonely if the other cacher's in the area also aren't considering a visit to it. The challenge doesn'tby mole125 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I agree that this should be referred to a reviewer however personally I wouldn't say that it violates guidelines 4 or 5. The requirement is simple to explain "It must be within .1 miles of the centre of a cemetery located in washington." (probably with a further few sentences saying the centre point is wherever google plots the location when you put in the cemetery name in.by mole125 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)

Have a look at this very similar thread http://project-gc.com/forum/read?8,1104,1104#msg-1104. Basically the problem is it is impossible to determine from the information on geocaching.com or project-gc as to whether a cache is in a cemetery, just outside of a cemetery or nothing to do with a cemetery.by mole125 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
The answer is going to be the same as when you made the request last week. (http://project-gc.com/forum/read?10,1489) This cache would not be allowed under rule 14. Positive Challenge Criteria:. "Not allowed. Not finding caches: design that limits or punishes any element of finding caches. Examples: Challenges that require ratios in finds"by mole125 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
You can't see who have used the checker, although you can put anybodies name in to see whether they qualify or not.by mole125 - Miscellaneous
The requirement "3. You cannot use more than one cache from a series of caches." makes it pretty much impossible for a checker script to be implemented as there is no way to automate this check. With this though a script should be possible, though it will probably require a new script to be written in order to handle computing the score.by mole125 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Shame you aren't much closer to me as otherwise I'd be tempted to go for the FTF when it is published - but a 5h trip each way probably isn't going to be feasible...by mole125 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Look like you are right there isn't a way to identify caches on Mallorca from the standard database fields, however it should be possible to identify it easily by specify a bounding box with the NW and SE long/lat coordinates - conveniently the islands are spread out enough that a more complex shape isn't needed. If you provide the GC code then I can add an appropriate tag.by mole125 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I've cloned the tag it is available here: http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC6KVJX/21503by mole125 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I'm afraid this challenge won't be permitted. Once you qualify for a challenge then finding additional caches should not stop you from staying qualified if I understand the requirements if you stop having a prime number of finds then you will no longer qualify. Secondly if you've got a prime of multi's you are penalised by your challenge if you go and find another multi. Tby mole125 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)

This doesn't look like it is possible. There is no method to definitively identify a challenge cache - there are numerous puzzle or bonus caches which contain the word 'challenge' which aren't challenge caches. Unless a method is added to identify challenge caches there is no way to accurately do the checks. From experience and observation it is also quite possible other reviewers will come up with different interpretations of the rules, particularly when presented with fairly different scenarios such as the cm lists.by mole125 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
