I can make the checker. It is not very difficult. But how about the reviewer?by arisoft - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)

You are right. This is another problem caused by cache owners, not by anyone else in the chain. There is already discussion between reviewers and challenge checker authors or moderators and here we are talking with each others in this forum. (:P)by arisoft - Miscellaneous

I picked a random cache from the exeption list. This is quite difficult. https://coord.info/GC3DD4E It clearly states: "you must follow the directions to log it online". There is nothing vague in the description. Word "Challenge" appears in the title. I suppose that HQ allows this grandfathered ALR.by arisoft - Challenge checker exceptions
I would like to see a list of features that make a challenge or not challenge. There seems to be some uncertainty, for example, when the cache clearly has an ALR but some part of it is against guidelines. The result depends on which feature is more important.by arisoft - Challenge checker exceptions

In theory, it is possible to clone some old tag to another old challenge without breaking V2 rules. It could be possible to limit cloning between different rules. If the cloned tag is made for V1 cache it is allowed to clone only to V1 caches. If the tag is made for V2 cache there is no limits. In practice, almost every script which is compatible with V2 rules has already been used for V2 cby arisoft - Miscellaneous
To be effective, the system should prevent cloning only tags which are against current rules. Many old challenges are still possible. So, you are actually requesting a blacklist of tags (= GC-codes) not allowed to clone. If such a list exists it should be easy to implement, I think.by arisoft - Miscellaneous

Are you sure that the coordinates are correct? The place looks like a regular lawn. I am sure that players are working towards the achievment. It would be catastrophic to lessen requirements suddenly in this case. For example, some could think that you made this for purpose to favor someone else during FTF hunt. After three months you are free to archive the cache and place a new challengeby arisoft - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

You understand that when you define the age as how long ago the cache was published, your challenge will be filled with caches found long time ago, not by caches that really are the noteworthy old ones. Could you give me an example. If we have three active caches published 1000,2000 and 3000 days ago. And archived caches the player has found are published 3500 and 2500 days ago. How about the age calculation? If you define the age being the time the cache has been available to public, the challenge seems to be more realistic for me. For example, if someone found a cache 10 years ago and that cache was available only one day before get archived, it may not be worth of declaring it as an "old" cache in any means.by arisoft - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Curretly the script has specified no algorithm to include archived caches. For example, what should happen if a player has found the currently oldest cache and also one or more caches that are older but archived. How many points should the player earn in this case? If we can define the algorithm it is possible to adjust the script accordingly. In this case it could also be useful to allowby arisoft - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

They shouldn't believe the checker. If they accept a challenge wihout checking the requirements there is high possibility that the cache will be archived.
