It was a bug in the checker. I send a bug report to to the script writer. Todayby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
t4e Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Would it be possible to make this exclude the > current month? > > http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC3Q4J9/20702 Changed. Did you want one for 4 finds per month? If you create the page the checker can tagged eminently and you can publish when you meet the requirementsby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
That is possible I am not sure if any script can do that. It is an trivial script to write, A larger problem is it allowed? Is section 10 there is this rule "All challenges must be achievable without owning a cache."by Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
The gc code is relevant so the name of the cache will be on the checker page and so it is linked to it. And to know whick checker is for which cache if there is a problem http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC6JHYD/20758by Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
tagged http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC6JJ9F/20763by Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
The code to check it is not that hard to code. The problem is that the checker need a graph of all counties in the US with the name, state and connection to all other neighboring counties. the hard part is to do that. If you create the connection graph i can code a checkerby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
You should not send the cache in for review before it is complete. That include a checker for challenges You can create a listing without sending it in to be reviewed and ask for a checker here I have taged one at http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC6H4RH/20756by Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
If you done have taged a checker before you cant do it now. Read the READ FIRST post http://project-gc.com/forum/read?8,13,13#msg-13 where it is explain that you a gc code is necessary and you should post it with your request. The checker (script) is not modified by a config for your challenge is created with your requirementsby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I fixed the distance because the checker uses km not miles. And removed the gcocde in the tag because the checker does not check for the requirements in the cache desciptionby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
And it could be tested if it was enabledby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
The checkers does not have access to home coordinates and so it cant be done. And i would disagree with the opinion that that calculation will result in the number of miles you have traveled. It assume that you return home after each find and that is not likley to be true A more correct way is to caclulate the distance between finds in order and that can be doneby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
1000 http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC6JHA4/20745 2000 http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC6JHA5/20746 3000 http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC6JHA6/20747 4000 http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC6JHA7/20748 5000 http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC6JHA8/20749by Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I have one that almost does that but for regions. http://project-gc.com/Tools/Challenges?edit&scriptId=895 I think it will be quite easy to modify. But it can only check for now not inte past as the rule "To claim this challenge, find all of the active caches in a country at some point in time" Data to check that is not available to checkers and not even on gc.com because of misby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

You can add one if you thing one of my caches deserves one and you have visit it. But non of your finds in sweden is on my cachesby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
The format of the file is the same as the what is inside the "polygons": part of the tags with config in the tag. The reson for the uploaded polygon is that it is insignificant to have large configs. Create a json polygon file and contact the pgc support to upload it. It might be trickey to do it correctly if you cant create tags and test the data But will you create a new set forby Target. - Script development

Dont thrust them they are often incorrect There is a reason pgc dont use them other then the copyright problem. No that would require a large rewrite and complicate the codeby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Is it changedby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Do you use google maps there? Their borders are not that good on them. I have found a cache on a State(Län) border on the sign in Sweden and the border on google maps was 12 km from that point Change to OSM and the cache is on the other side on the border. I suspect pgc uses osm maps or the source they use "LPI NSW Base Map" that is the official maps? http://www.lpi.nsw.gov.au/mappiby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
That it not how the checker or the rule works The rule is "10 Requiring cachers to log caches that are disabled or archived." No one thinks about archived if it is a challenge to have 1000 found logs but they will be included in that list. Your find count on gc.com includes them The checker looks att the top FP list and and include all active caches and alos add archived you havby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
No i will not add that. That would require a total rewrite of the code and the result produce annoying list of alot of caches that are not that usefull.by Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Yo will have a problem with that if you send it in for publication. The checker is the definition as ok on the challenge and you have to pass. The question is if the border polygons on pgc are incorrect or the gc.com listing Unofficially the pgc polygons will be used if they are not updatedby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Why exclude archived finds? Any reason that if a caches get archivet you get from ok to not ok on the challenge? It in not against the guidelines and annoying it a cache get archived and dissapairs from the list. A personal opinion that I have and created challenges for is that %FP and Wilson score for a cache is a better measurement for how good a cache is and as easy tro create an challenby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
That cant be done. The get oldes function on pgc is by hidden date only. The checker cant get first log date on any cache and publication date (last) only on found caches. And pleased dont add ruled that threat different countries different. The code will be less reusable and complicated/boring to write and the chance that someone will create a new script will be lower. And your spec is not cby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
the tag is http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC6JH14/20731 I have not ingored adopted because they cant be identified. GC131CQ, GC131CC is the only caches with that DT but you have not found any of them. Or is the logg missing on pgc? http://project-gc.com/Tools/MapCompare?profile_name=Cankid&country=Australia®ion=Australian+Capital+Territory&nonefound=on&onefound=on&by Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
That is not needed. It is one cache per region and example D says that you can count D and T if both are above >=3.5 and then only 5 caches is needed. That was the problem on your tagby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Why is logs on owned caches not allowed? are that a problem there? The is legimit cases when you can have logs on own caches. You log event caches as CO and if you adopt a cache you have previous found. The latter case cant be detected by pgc, That information dont exist in the caches. All finds on your 10 adopted caches would not be included And it is trivial to go around the limitation by cby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
:-) It is now enabledby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
