Regions in Project-GC refers to states/provinces/regions of a country, for example "Florida, USA", "Bayern, Germany" or "Skåne, Sweden". The region data on Geocaching.com is chosen by the cache owner but the region data at Project-GC is determined with administrative boundaries from OpenStreetMap via OSM-Boundaries and for some countries official government data is used.

Related statistics

Regions are shown in the Maps tab of the Profile Stats and are used to calculate the quality of the Country Badges in the BadgeGen tab.

Top Region Finders is a top list that shows who have logged the most regions.

Related paid membership features

Map Regions is a tool where users with a paid membership can find what regions they have found or not found caches in and what caches are available in the regions.
