Re: New Challenge Checker

Hello,

I would like to ask you about challenge checker for my new cache GC7TNBH - can you help me, please?

I need to add these caches (for checking): GC78JXE, GC78JVW, GC76MBA, GC59REM, GC74M5D, GC76PRN, GC74M48, GC60WZP, GC5H50M and GC6W088. Is it enough information for you?

You will have to be a little bit more specific as to the requirements for the checker. If it is what I suspect it is, it's not acceptable according to the challenge checker guidelines as per rule 11:

Not allowed: A challenge based on elements under the cache owner’s primary control is not acceptable: examples, my favorites, my caches, bookmark lists, caches by this owner, or this group.

OK, so the reason why is this not acceptable is that these caches have me as owner. May I change it? For example: Everybody must find 27 caches inside the "triangle" of village Petrovice (N 49° 24.805 E 016° 42.052) - village Šošůvka (N 49° 24.837 E 016° 45.368) - Macocha cave in the Moravian karst (N 49° 22.394 E 016° 43.788)? Inside the "triangle" there is about 50 caches. Is it possible to create the checker for it?

Unfortunately also not allowed, as per rule 10:

Not allowed: Challenges based on geographic areas other than countries, states/provinces, counties (or their local equivalent). For example, user-defined mapping polygons, latitude/longitude, radius, etc.

I would suggest you read the challenge checker guidelines to see what's allowed and what not.

I read it and it is very strict. There is possibility the local equivalent of counties? Is the Protected Area of Moravian Karst local equivalent of county Jihomoravský kraj (in English "The County of South Moravia")? If yes so maybe find 27 caches there?

I can only see the following counties (no idea what you call these in Czechia) in Czechia / Jihomoravský kraj:

Blansko 642 Brno-venkov 274 Hodonín 7 Znojmo 25
Brno-město 360 Břeclav 3 Vyškov 133

Next to the names are the number of finds for you in each area. That's the smallest grouping that we have with the current rules.

Blansko contains also the Moravian Karst (north part) so it is for me (and for this cache) the most important. So please can you prepare challenge checker for county of Blansko? The criterium is to find 127 caches there?
