The challenge:

Log a cache, the cache type does not matter, which had at least 120 days no found log entry more.

In the evaluation, it would be important to me personally that the checker displays the GC code / cache name and the days, how long no found log was logged on this cache.


I had written with a responsible reviewer. This challenge is still allowed.
This challenge makes sense to make even older caches interesting and attractive again.

The data needed to create a checker like this isn't available via the checker programming interface. Hence it's not possible to create a checker for these type of challenges. Hence it's not an acceptable challenge since all new challenge caches must have a checker. Ergo, not allowed.

Do you mean that caches which have currently not been found in 120 days will qualify. This is possible checker but if someone finds the cache today the cache is not qualified any more.

If you mean the time before the player found the cache then this checker is not possible to make because it can access only logs posted by the player himself.

I do not really understand that because there are similar challenge caches.

There is also the evaluation, days since the last find.

If I look at the caches in Lower Saxony / Germany, then there are caches that have not been found for more than 1700 days.

The idea is that caches are made more often.

Do you have any idea how to filter and evaluate something like that ???

This is about 120 days without a Fund Log, from my point of view, it can also be 90 days.

There is an alternative, that is

Loneliness is defines as age/(number of finds)
The age is the number of days between hidden date and today's date if it is an active cache.
For an archived cache it is days between hidden and archived.
Your finds on archived caches after the achiving date are not included.

I want the Challene to be doable for everyone
