Re: Request for 26 different Challenge-Checkers

Hello,

we are a group of 5 geocachers who are creating a Challenge-Cache-Round of aprox. 50 caches.
For 26 of these caches we need new checkers. (for the other ones we can use existing checkers and they are also approved by our reviewer)
We already have the GC numbers and listings done. 24 of these caches are already approved by the reviewer. (2 caches are still awaiting approval)
We have already translated every challenge listing into english for this checker inquiry and can list them all in this thread.

We hope very much that someone can help us (we know it's a lot of work!) and we are looking forward hearing from you.

Checker modified to include Locationless. Will have to enquire as to when the Community event type will be available on the checker systems, so I can't add that right now. Can always adjust the checker at a later stage.

Will require some typing, so will provide that checker once I've done that.

The original checker required 8191 finds since it tried to find unique caches for each category, ie. it didn't count any finds with 4096+ FP's under the lower FP categories. I've now changed the checker to allow the finds to also match the lower levels, so in effect you only require 4096 finds in total (with the correct number of FP categories). Is this more the way you envisioned it?

We need the list of countries and counties, not the capital city. We can't provide a checker based on the capital city, only the country+county combination.

Question: Why are the home coordinates not available to the checker-system? Is it because that not everbody is specifying it in their profile?
If it is part of the challenge: Step one: plot in your home coordinates. Step two: then the requested challenge. Is it then possible to write a checker for these two challenges.

Challenge #30 is based on the statistics in every geocaching profile like the following picture

Had another look. The home coordinates are not available to the checker system so it's not possible to write a script and hence not possible to provide a checker for the bands, nor the furthest compass points. And even though the bands are visible on geocaching.com, we can't provide a checker and hence you can't have a challenge for it. Even the project-gc.com statistics are limited to showing the furthest find on the badge checker system, but only for people who provided their home coordinates to project-gc.com (but even then we as script authors don't have access to them; privacy rules). So sorry, these 2 challenges are simply not possible.

What is the situation on this request? Can this be moved to ARCHIVED Checkers
