Re: GC5QQDB 11x11 Challenge (11 different years in one day, 10 diff. yrs. twice, etc.)

This is an existing challenge where one must find caches placed in 11 different years in one day, and find caches placed in 10 different years in one day twice, and find caches placed in 9 different years on the same day three times, and so on down to finding caches placed in 2 different years ten times. According to the page, there used to be a macro for GSAK which checked for qualifications.

I was able to use Excel to check for myself. Sort by date found followed by date placed. compute year placed and then set up a nest if-then statement to count the number of years found for each day. Then I had to search for 11, then 10, and so on. It shouldn't be tough to program, but outside my skill set.

Thanks for taking the time to do this.

Request is passed on to a script writer , but don't hold your breath, since this sort of challenge would no longer be allowed, so it's likely to be low priority for most script writers.

There is not problem to write the checker, but there is a lot of work for there complex rules and the checker is not reusable.
However it is possible to do it, so maybe sometimes, when I'll have a few hours of time, instead to go to search some "first to find" I'll do this checker.
