Hello,

Can a generic checker be created to find all caches within a given circle e.g. radius = 2km

Thank you, John

A checker can check for finds inside a circle.
But it cant know if there are other caches inside that circle that the user had nog logged.

Hello Target, Thank you for your reply

A checker can check for finds inside a circle.

This is exactly what I need to create my caches......so what next do I need to do to get a checker created?

I will need to create 6 checkers for 6 caches on a similar theme. 6 different center points (same code just new center point each time)

Regards, John

For each circle, you will need to provide the GC code for the challenge, the centre point and radius, the number of finds needed within the circle and any other restrictions (such as if you want to only have Traditionals count). Since it's similar challenges you can make the request in one post.

Thank you sumbloke, - reference: Since it's similar challenges you can make the request in one post.

My 6 new challenge caches, with circles of 2km diameter are:

GC6K7E8 - the centre point N 53° 21.902 W 006° 13.693 - radius 1km - number of finds = 10 (any cache type)
GC6K7EM - the centre point N 53° 19.900 W 006° 17.600 - radius 1km - number of finds = 5 (any cache type)
GC6K7ET - the centre point N 53° 20.534 W 006° 17.036 - radius 1km - number of finds = 10 (any cache type)
GC6K7F0 - the centre point N 53° 21.685 W 006° 16.350 - radius 1km - number of finds = 7 (any cache type)
GC6K7F2 - the centre point N 53° 19.808 W 006° 15.873 - radius 1km - number of finds = 10 (any cache type)
GC6K7G8 - the centre point N 53° 21.192 W 006° 18.258 - radius 1km - number of finds = 10 (any cache type)

Thank you, John

Can you check this one http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC6K7E8/21270

You don't fulfill thre challenge yet and on the others I get a strange result.
Can you check your coordinates and place them in Decimal degrees just to make certain that they are on the wright spot

I suspect that the radius might be 2 km as written in the texta ablove the list

I'm not certain when I look at the tag of E.U.S.A.L himself.

He uses "{ "maxDistance": 10, "minFound":25, "originLat":50.14253, "originLon":7.16652 }" and the text says "At least 25 caches within 10km around cache "Reichsburg Cochem" (GC58140)"

This is the output on GC6K7EM when I uses 2km
You found 1 of 5 needed cache(s) within 2km from -6.29333,53.33167.

Hello, Apologies but just to clarify the diameter of each circle is 2km....radius 1km on all of them (first post was an example)
