Request for a Challenge type Jasmer for a département

For

France - île de France - Essonne
And any type of cache

All months where a cache is placed and actived.

Question: When do you want to start this Jasmer for the caches in France - île de France - Essonne because the situation is from 2005-06 till 2011-07 that there are months missing and in a lot of months there is only a single cache.
If that cache gets archived new cachers are than excluded from fulfilling the challenge.
The guidelines state that there must be sufficient caches available to complete the challenge.

Indeed, I have seen the missing months, but it is part of the history of geocaching in Essonne. This is why it is necessary to select the active caches. So if a cache is archived, the challenge is always up to date! So every month or cache is active should be a simple criterion in the sorts normally.

The problem is that a jasmer script has to be set to a certain number of caches and is not updated when a cache gets archived

So with the criteria: that the active caches, the challenge is always realizable even if a cache is archived.

I did a quick check but you are missing quite a few months

Would it not be better to use the historic challenge like finding 75 of 100 active oldest caches in Essonne. That script automaticly updaes itself.

I am a bit lost here. Are you looking for the whole of France or for a challenge with caches placed in Essonne

Ok I am with you. It is however not posible to give a map with the missing caches because the checker simply has not got this information. Cacher can only do the themself by using the filter on the missing caches in the map compare section which can be directly loaded in the VGPS and sent to you as a GPX file

You have to put the checker in your listing.

You can follow this procedure
1. Go to your Checker's page here (linked above).
2. There are buttons on the right side of the screen. Click the bottom one that says "Link."
3. Follow the instructions in the pop-up box. Copy the HTML into your clipboard.
4. Go to your cache listing and place it in "edit" mode.
5. Paste the HTML from your clipboard into the desired location within your cache description.
6. Check the acknowledgment boxes at the bottom of the edit page and then save your changes
